Luckily, this testimony will be a fair amount shorter than Jodi's since there's not a whole narrative going on nor a backstory needed.

Also, I have been watching videos of Juan's past trials, as well as the Marjorie Orbin case (prosecuted by Juan's girlfriend), and something I have gleaned from AZ juries is that they tend to be intelligent, logical, discerning, and not governed by emotion alone. They seem very good at sifting through the evidence an separating the facts from conjecture and the reality from the fiction. I have faith in AZ juries, much more than FL juries. FWIW.

Juan's girlfriend...I gotta see that!!

He is awfully fidgety, isn't he?

---

Michele Crawford ‏@Mmartinfan4life 1m Being that Daniels had a history of aggressive behavior & drugs.. Jurors may feel #richardchrisman was justified. DV calls are serious.

Lissette Martinez ‏@martinezliss 1m #richardchrisman: some Jr. officers feel they should be the contact cop, or sometimes is first officer on scene: Chrisman was both

I suppose I can understand him being edgey arriving on such a scene (though he's a seasoned cop, he should be used to it by now and I feel he has probably dealt with worse).

The question is was he justified in shooting Daniel? I don't think he was.

I'm kind of over AZ's court schedule lol.

They went to lunch? RC was on the stand for what, 30 minutes? How long is lunch?

Just watched the Marjorie Orbin trial video you very kindly put up. OMG what a cold hard woman. The detective was put on administrative leave for his criticisms of the Phoenix Crime Lab. Goodness.

It seems that if you speak out against the PPD or it's officers, wham. I think we are seeing it in this case. What a mess.

48 Hours on ID: "Diary of a Showgirl" - YouTube

Marjorie Orbin prosecuted by Treena Kay :) She is featured in this episode pretty extensively.

Thanks Meebee...a lot of the things she said reminded me of CMJA...for example she couldn't call police or tell anyone because she was "threatened" by the real murderer. Just sick what she did. Couldn't she just have divorced him and still gotten half of his money? I guess she couldn't get the life insurance that way.
I felt so bad for her son...he looked so cute in all the pics and clips they showed of him. So sad.

I agree a very cold hearted woman, reminds me of another AZ woman JA. I believe she was very guilty. Who goes out and spends money like that.

I know we are off topic. Juan's woman seems like a very good prosecutor!

I told Josh at abc15 that we here at WS were very grateful to them for live streaming. I told him we have had to follow the trial by tweet and that it was not the same. I told him we were from all over the country and the world and he was impressed. :) I thanked him for all of us. He sounded thrilled!

They'll be back at 1:30 AZ time (about 10 min.), Zuri.
