One thing that had me confused and that did not sound right, was that RC was the contact officer and Virgillo was the cover, yet Virgillo was first on scene and that is usually the contact officer. So now I am wondering if Virgillo was not first on scene although he radioed in that he was.

The other thing that has bugged me was that Virgillo did not by his own testimony try to stop RC after he had shot the dog, IYKWIM. Something is just way off in all this. JMO

So did I hear this correctly? That RC had no idea where Virgillo was? He was drawing his weapon in fear for his life and Virgillo was nowhere to be found? That RC did not call out to him? That Virgillo abandoned him because of the pepper spray and RC had to handle everything?

I think that is what Chrisman thinks. imo

I thought Chrisman said he was called in for back up for Virgillo but Virgillo got there after him? Did I hear wrong?

Nuh uh. Not buying his fabricated story. First of all, it's ridiculous that Virgillo would just be standing outside the whole time. As I said previously, even if Virgillo was outside, why wouldn't he come in or at least look in the doorway after he heard the first gunshot (killing the dog)??? That would make him a really really bad police officer, and IIRC, he's been a cop for like 15 years. No cop is gonna hear a gunshot go off and just keep standing outside, if he really was outside, which I believe he was in the breach of the doorway like he testified to.

Also, I agree that feeling threatened that Daniel was gonna smash his head with a bicyle is a ridiculous excuse. I don't buy that one minute. Also, he said he was by the couch when Daniel raised the bicyle, but then he says he was standing by the doorway??

Not buying his story, there are many holes that Juan is gonna point out....number one being how could Virgillo disappear into thin air. Must've been some sort of magic trailer.

Also, why did the white-haired guy stand up? Please don't tell me he's doing the cross instead of Juan???

4 mins.

Ok, I thought it was just me.

It honestly doesn't sound like at any point he had an reason to have a reasonable fear for his life. It also sounds like he unnecessarily escalated the situation. IMO. It also seems unlikely to me that he knew just from looking at him that he was high on meth. Maybe he could tell he was high, but to be so pointed...IDK about that one.

unless he has some sort of super power that detects what drug you are high on by just looking at you, then there is no way he could say with the certainty he does that it was meth.

he went in far too heavy handed and he is going to have to pay the price. he could have tased daniel and then the dog and taken daniel into custody.

i have faith in Juan and the jury that we will get a guilty.

The white haired guy is probably the detective. Juan is the only pros. here.

Hmm...interesting. It's so hard to remember what he said when we haven't seen the trial video.

Oh, I'll probably only post selected tweets while JM is cross examining, so if anyone else wants to post them, feel free.

GeeVee, plz don't worry about posting the tweets. You and Jewels have done so much for us already. We have waited a long time to hear Juan. :seeya:

Oooh, puts RC on the defensive right away.

You know how The Simpson's episodes usually start out with some random opening that will have nothing to do with what the rest of the episode is about? That's what Juan's crosses remind me of sometimes, lol.

Also, I love how he never starts his questioning with "Good afternoon, Mr. So-and-so." He's so not fake.

i can totally see RC crumbling under juans questioning. fingers crossed

And the "dumb sister" thing. He always does this to throw the witness off and usually brings the point around before getting into the meat of the cross.

God, I've missed you Juan.

Our first, "do you have a problem with your memory?"

OOOh, looks like someone lifted a line from Dr. Samuels. "No more problems than anyone else."
