Yeah, I'm pretty sure the judge will sentence and no aggravation/mitigation phases, just a sentencing date after verdict (hopefully). lol

People are tweeting the divas asking/saying they heard a verdict was in but divas are in courtroom with Danny's family and no verdict has been reached yet. Just wanted to mention as tweets are popping up.

As you know, I think he is going to walk on the murder charge and be found guilty of cruelty to animals. Which of course is ludicrous. I believe they will convict DR instead. It makes me so sad that bias and prejudice still exist in any form in this day and age. What happened to love thy neighbor? The Golden Rule? JMV

I'm just trying to wrap my head around why the jury would not want to dig in and finish this thing out? I mean, I really kind of admire them for being so "calm" about it, at least time-wise, but don't they have things they want/have to get back to?

I don't know Daisy, and honestly I think many ppl have lost interest in this due to the long verdict time, so I don't think the media is gonna live-stream it, but I'm not sure....

They would still be getting the questions on record even if they are handling them in chambers. And the lawyers would be present too, because they have to help formulate the answer. I guess it kind of makes sense that the judge is not handling them in open court since Chrisman has waived his right to be there for them. I guess it's just the judge's discretion on how they are reviewed and answered. It does make me wonder though what has been being asked. Also, does the family still have a right to be there, even if Chrisman is not? I would think yes.

I don't think we should read too far into the smiling jurors, in terms of which way they are leaning. Jodi's jurors were often seen smiling and laughing too. It doesn't mean they don't respect the process or that someone is dead. I wouldn't expect jurors to act somber all the time. Making this decision is a heavy burden. It's ok with me that they get it out a little.

It's quite possible Zuri. I am not getting myself to attached to the outcome of this trial. At least I'm trying not to. I think there were jurors based on the questions leaning toward Chrisman's guilt. How will that play out? IDK...I just hope they can convince the other jurors regardless that Chrisman had no right to shoot Danny.

Oh MeeBee I really hope so. I don't like to be a negative Nelly, but IMO, this should have been over by last Friday when they were there for five minutes. I understand diligence and expect it. Perhaps they just want to make an incredibly informed decision as the fallout will be widespread either way. You make me feel cautiously optimistic. :tyou:

This is a case where I believe they should have sequestered the jury during deliberations....all these days passing there is more and more chance they'll be exposed to something in the media or someone saying something about the case....

Of course it's all good if they come back with the right verdict, but.....

Why would the court tell them they had to go? no, they just needed a break after working for an hour and a half....LOL...ok I better stop or I am gonna sound not-so-nice...I do respect what they are doing but just....don't know what to think at this point and am getting to the point where thinking how long is this gonna last??!!
