Another un-happy posting!

A private source confirmed jury split on the #RichardChrisman was 10 G on all chgs 2 NG. 1 older male and 1 young female #TheTrialDivas

OMG. Unbelievable. I thought for sure it would have been like 4 NG for them to not come to any consensus. Could the young female have been juror #2? In agg. closings remember she said she couldn't hear Mehrens, and her voice sounded like that of a younger female.

At least it wasn't just 1 who hung the whole jury. Sigh.

I turned the Pietz trial on and promptly fell asleep in my chair, holy cow my neck hurts. LOL

Before I forget - I don't know how I didn't see it earlier but RC posted 150,000.00 bond on 10/21/10, I looked all through the (few) articles and couldn't find the amount and it was right on the docket. lol It's also been updated to show he was found guilty by jury on that charge.

And I am not all that upset that 2 hung the jury (though that's a tough number to swallow), but I think that gives the DA more impetus to retry at least the 2nd degree charge, if not the charge for Junior as well.

Haven't listened to your link yet Jewels but will in a minute.

You will just have to listen to this video and I don't think this will make most or any of you happy!

http://www.azcentral.com/community/...fficer-chrisman-murder-trial-verdict-brk.html

In this age of all info all the time, I don't think there's any place on Earth he can hide for more than 5 years without being found out by the other inmates. But he will have to live those years trying to, I suppose.

I really disliked hearing that one talk about one brother or sister testifying against the other and how that's wrong - what is wrong with these people??? Become a cop and never be held accountable again? That viewpoint really turns my stomach.

I said I was going to take a break I had the Mods move a case down from the missing/found. The Kira Trevino case I followed it since she went missing in February this yr. It is in MN not sure if it will be broadcast or not. Sure would like to see her spouse found guilty.

Is the trial soon? I'll take a look at the thread.

I want to chime in to say how much I appreciated following this thread. You all were such a supportive group no matter what direction the thought processes went each day.

The Trial Divas have a nice blog on the jurors and their deliberation. Two people couldn't find RC guilty on two of the counts.....at least it wasn't 10 NG and 2G. I too am proud of this jury for being brave and letting the LE community know that they cannot be intimidated no matter how many officers backed the likes of RC. It is a step in the right direction.

The citizens of AZ should be glad that Officer V exists on their force. We need more like him in every State. Any ethical cop will be unafraid to have Officer V as a partner.

I wish we could clone Juan Martinez and share him within every jurisdiction across the nation. I am so thankful that his parents created this fine intelligent fighter.

I am looking forward to the Oct 18 sentencing.

Again, thank you for all the insights and sharing of knowledge. Take good care of yourselves.

Hey geevee! LOL it's good you got some rest!! I actually took a short nap too....felt sooo good!

I think if there was 1 on NG side, the others prob. could've convinced them to switch over...after all 11 against 1....but since there were 2 guess they kinda drew strength from each other, IMO.

LOL I guess yesterday took more out of us than we thought.:blushing:

I think so too, we've seen on so many reality shows how a duo can have much more power than the minority they seem, as long as they stick together.

Good morning. Sorry, I should have put it on before. Still learning. Sign up for their newsletters and their articles come straight to your email so nothing is missed. I am surprised this one does not appear on their website. I thought everything came across. I do like the descriptions they have for each juror. If there are any interviews with the jurors, we can visualize them and perhaps discern their reasoning on their decisions.

Added: Just tapped on the above url address to see that it would come up AND IT DIDN'T. It seems they have removed it (!?). However, it is still in my email. Is it proper to cut and paste it here?

PHOENIX - A Maricopa County Correctional Health Services employee has walked off the job after three deputies heard her threaten Richard Chrisman.
The ex-cop was going through a standard re-booking process at the 4th Avenue jail Tuesday night before being transferred to another facility.

Chrisman was convicted in the 2010 shooting death of Daniel Rodriguez.
Deputy Chief Don Marchand says the county employed medical assistant refused to do a physical on Chrisman because he killed a Hispanic man, and she herself is Hispanic.

Good gravy, it's starting already - and from a county employee? Hard to imagine anyone would risk their job just to talk smack to him and create a scene. Maybe it'a ploy to drum up some sympathy? It works with me, things like this always make me feel sorry for the person who is being treated like less than a human being - which is really where all of this started, isn't it?

Thanks for the Diva jury report Lynx, I couldn't find it on their site when I looked either, they need to take a day or so and do some site organization and get links posted for their articles. WordPress isn't quite as user friendly as say Microsoft's various free website incarnations, but it's not like WS format where you have all kinds of user groups, permissions and confusing categories to figure out. They just have to organize and be diligent about linking articles plainly (and not just throwing it at Twitter and expect the whole world has it lol).

Idaho Lynx, thank u sooooo much for pasting as well as linking to that article. So interesting to hear about the jurors! IIRC, in her tweet yesterday she said one younger female and one older male, looking over the notes I found many younger females, and 2 older males, but some of the middle-aged ones could also be counted as "older" so there's really no way of telling just by the notes for now. (I was trying to figure out who the NG's could be, as you can tell!). I really hope one of the NG's will someday tell their side of the story and what they think really happened, if they do it somewhere like Trial Divas and not mainstream news, I think it will be much better for them if they don't want the publicity.

Re: correctional health employee - whoa!! Like Arpaio said, it started even before he went IN the prison!! That lady had some guts, but still he wasn't worth her losing her job over him, guess she couldn't control her emotions, obviously. Imagine what would happen to him on the inside - pretty sure he'll be kept in solitary or transferred out-of-state. I am not too worried about him being in solitary, it is still punishment, he will be in prison and on top of that not able to talk to anyone. I hope they don't give him a roomate, just by himself. He will suffer either way, so not worried about that.
