In the bottom photo, I can see somewhat of a resemblance to this Doe that was found near the border of Maricopa and Pinal counties in 2010 (est. time of death 2007 - 2009)

The Doe is listed as “White/Caucasian Hispanic/Latino” on Doe Network and NamUs, but the status of available DNA is unknown. The Doe’s jawline in the sketch appears larger than Darrell’s, as does the nose. Only partial skeletal remains were found, but it does not state if the skull was complete.

There is a social media post that includes information that he told his mom that he was planning on taking the bus to Glendale to “check out some golf swings”. His mom commented on the post, leading me to believe that this story is accurate.

That gives a reason for Darrell to be in the West Valley and in closer proximity to where John Doe was eventually found.
