Clothing - Blue Jeans "Anchor Blue" size 31 with green stitching and a possible iron-on letter on the leg of the pants. Unable to determine what it is (see images); boxer shorts plaid with blue and white- unknown size or brand. Found on the body.

IMO the "Anchor Blue" brand fact could be fairly substantial as they went out of business and closed all stores in 2011. From what I could find the stores seemed to be primarily located in the Western USA. All of the Florida and Georgia branches closed in 2009 when the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

I also want to put forward the possibility that this may be Armando Felipe-Ortiz, MP41818. Height and age add up, and Lukeville is only a 2 - 2 1/2 hour drive from the location the remains were found. What's throwing me off, however, is that there is so little information available for both of these individuals, and the clothing that Felipe-Ortiz was last seen in does not add up with the John Doe.

If he was crossing into the US, he could have walked for some distance before succumbing to the elements or violence.

According to the map, it's about 100 miles from Lukeville to Dateland, less than that if he was cutting across the desert to avoid detection. Google Maps

Edited to add: Another possibility is that the decedent is a migrant agricultural worker from the Dateland area, which is widely known for--surprise--its date farming.

That's a pretty common mistake in Namus--if you enter 5'3", Namus takes it as 53".

I'm assuming the first two reconstructions were done when the doe was considered to be Hispanic. He is currently listed as Caucasian.

The coords on NAMUS suggest he was found in the desert about 25 miles due west of Arlington, AZ. There appears to be a single road (Agua Caliente Rd) between them.

I have zero idea why they refer the location the UID was found as Dateland when the spot is nowhere near Dateland. Besides, Dateland is in Yuma County, not Maricopa. The spot is much closer to Tonopah.
