Poor little babe. So glad he was saved.

From your link az.....

"I can't imagine he would have lasted much longer," said Avery Crossman with Home Fur Good. "The vet told me today that some of his injuries look like they've been about a week old, so he could have been at that landfill for many days before they found him."

Poor little Oscar. I’m so glad he is receiving good care as I know he has a forever home just waiting for him. I hope they do an update on him as I worry about these doggies!

I will keep you posted! I bet he will have an awesome life after this. We will be very picky choosing his new family.

Yep, could have been in that landfill for a while, thankfully the weather has cooled to below 100 recently.

Staggering to see how many stories pop up when searching for "dog dumped in garbage"... so sad...

Not at the landfill, no, but I work with the rescue (Home Fur Good) that is helping him so I get lots of updates and have seen some new pics. We will eventually work to find his new home, after a stay with our very best foster family. The guy who found him at the landfill? Now, that guy is AMAZING and humble and just wow...
