I think she graduated from Southern Nazarene University in OK, IIRC. I'll try to confirm it for sure.

I finally heard back from the detective working the Shelenberger case. About all she would say is that circumstances surrounding this case leave her to believe that BK is not Shelenberger.

There seems to have been one Donald R. Shelenberger in PA, and this Donald Kenneth Shelenberger in AZ. This one appears to have been arrested and sentenced on narcotics charges in 1989. Oddly, searching the Pima County Superior Court records does not turn up this arrest, but instead a different filing from 1/1/84, where he is the plaintiff in a suit brought by Farmers Insurance and John and Jan Johnson. No actual documents are online, but maybe relating to a car accident or similar.

I've noticed before the insane number of unidentified bodies found in Pima County and Arizona as a whole, probably related to people attempting border crossings and dying in the desert. There's over 100 estimated to have died between 1990-2000, who are male/undetermined and white/undetermined.

Circumstances of Disappearance

<<Donald Kenneth Shelenberger was last heard from on July 3, 1994, when he made arrangements to go hiking on Mount Lemmon, located near Tucson, Arizona with a friend.>>

And what happened to the friend? He just said he left and left him alone? He seems suspicious... maybe a lie detector test would help here...
He probably knows something else but is keeping it to himself...
Whatever it is,
Rest in peace.

No he said that Donald never showed up for the hike.

FWIW there is a dairy farm in Lancaster County, PA that is owned by a Harold Shellenberger. I went to school with his daughter and he has another daughter and a son. I doubt it’s related but it definitely isn’t the most common surname. MOO
