Silver Alert issued for missing man from El Mirage

A Silver Alert has been issued for a man who went missing from El Mirage.

Officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety 75-year-old Elias Alkasmattit left his family’s home around noon on Friday.

Elias is from out of state and is not familiar with the area. He suffers from Dementia and does not speak English. He was last seen wearing black pants, a purple sweater, and navy blue crocs for shoes.

The area he is missing from is largely populated by retired people. It is about a 30 minute drive west of Phoenix. 30 minutes because of the hundred stop lights...ugh!
