Silver Alert issued for missing Scottsdale woman with severe dementia
PHOENIX A Silver Alert was issued Saturday after an 84-year-old woman with dementia went missing, according to Scottsdale police.
Eve Narveson was last seen around 2:44 p.m. at her home at 3212 N. Miller Road in Scottsdale before leaving in a 2006 blue Kia Spectra. The car was registered in Arizona with license plate numbers 761RXY.
She suffers from severe Alzheimers/dementia.
She left her home with a purse and a newly-issued Arizona identification card. She did not have a cell phone or any form of currency with her and it was not known how much gasoline was in the vehicle when she left.
Narveson was described as a 5-foot-2-inch, 148-pound female.
She likely did not know her address or how to get back home as her and her husband just moved from another house in Scottsdale. According to authorities, Narveson believed she may be in Phoenix or Houston.
Her husband heard her tell him it was nice knowing him while he was taking a nap and when he got up less than a minute later to check on her, she was gone.
She was wearing a red sweater and black pants when she disappeared.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts are encouraged to contact the Scottsdale Police Department.
