I like the photos with the markups but I thought it was 100-150 yards so 450 feet circle from the house as shooting perimeter. Can you mark one up with that distance?

Yes it is confusing with testimony being feet, yards, meters.

There's something in those lawsuit docs that iirc Lilibet posted, it refers to what the town was supposed to do for Kelly, re "platting" and some other land-development services he thought he would be receiving from KS. I don't have time to go back right now, however that post is interesting. But, as I mentioned before, I can't imagine KS extending electricity to him if he's not on a public road.

I think that it may be referring to Kino Springs Golf Course, and the company. Kino Springs had been struggling and then they closed for good in 2021. I think they'd been in business since 1970s. It's my feeling that he was going to make a luxury resort and spa, on his own property, based on the local Kino Springs Golf Club.

What? A real estate agent is supposed to list a property as dangerous? Not going to happen. That is part of the due diligence of a buyer. Anyone listing a property in Southern Arizona or anywhere along the border is going to have a very long wait for a buyer, unless a cartel can find a straw man to purchase it for their use. I wonder if that ever happens?

LOL! Of *course* the real estate agent is trying to make the property sound idyllic in order to sell! I just was amused by the contrast between the wording and current reality. And due diligence would have applied to the Kellys as well, even though things weren’t as bad when they bought it and I guess maybe they thought there would be a wall built? So at the time it must have seemed like a good business venture to start a new resort.

Looking at the photos of the golf courses, my first thought is “where does the water for the grass come from?” But I digress.

I’m reposting my post with the lawsuit info for those referring to it. Yes, it was between the Kino Springs Golf Course (referred to as “Kino” in the lawsuit) and Kelly. He was planning to build a resort on the property.

I think he did think that the wall was going to be completed, or was led to believe it, even when he first bought into the idea.

I think it is a private road as he doesn't maintain it and it appears no one else does either. His former address was listed 100 Willow Cross Cir., Nogales, AZ. It still comes up. EDIT: I have thoughts that the Kino Spgs Golf Club originally named some of these streets, now on his property.

Wow!!! 30-40 times!!??? That is alot of times they were called!! And, just in the last month? Whew!

Also stated in the article was that the BP agents could not or would not give a number of times called to his property in the last YEAR! That says alot right there....to me.

It makes me wonder why the LE wouldn't believe Mr Kelly's story from Jan 30, knowing why he had called them repeatedly previously. I believe the reasons for his calls were more than likely the same, although the article does not specify so.

Previously I had stated my concerns and questions regarding ( my opinion ) the DA's charging Mr Kelly too quickly, and now I doubt even more, WHY ?...after all the time that LE and BP has been called to his property reportedly.

I think your EDIT intended to cover this, but just to be clear, Willow Cross Circle is the current address of the Kelly’s Vermillion Mountain Ranch, not a former address.

I think the shooter was right behind C-B, stumbled and accidentally fired his gun, hitting him in the back. That would explain the low to high path of the bullet. JMO.

I agree with your theory. And, also it would explain Mr Kelly hearing a gun shot, as well as spooking a horse nearby. This may have happened accidentally by one in the group GBC was with, OR...with intention by another in a rival Cartel group. The area was ripe with all things illegal ( IMO )

The point I was making in my rather lengthy (TL;dr ) post (see relevant part below) was that Kelly had no urgent need to go out on his porch, confront the men with his gun and risk having an AK-47 or any other gun pointed at him. Why put yourself in harm’s way where you may feel forced to use a weapon and escalate the situation?

He just happened to have his AK47 at hand while "having lunch"? If the murdered victim was unarmed, and no where near Kelly, ie at least 1 to 1.5 football fields away, where is the threat? BTW, the "word of immigrants" is as valid as Kelly's. Probably more, in this case. IMO

He probably needs to in the area where he lives.
