I agree with Dear Prudence about what the cousin might have meant on Logan turning his life around. In a lot of his MS pictures he is drinking, giving the middle finger, etc. Maybe she just meant he is over the partying aspect of his life and ready to get it together for his son. Also, he spells the baby's name Gabrial (you can see this under the photo album he titles "baby gabrial" - so I am not sure which is correct.

As for the comment left by the woman on Elizabeth's MS page - I think the woman probably sent Elizabeth a private message titled "Gabriel" and she was simply trying to get Elizabeth to read it by posting a wall message. IMO, this woman is probably trying to get Elizabeth to tell where this precious baby is. I highly doubt she has anything to do with his disappearance. Stranger things have happened, though.

I am hoping and praying that Elizabeth gave the baby to someone and that someone will go to LE. I am thinking she might have sold the baby to someone and used the money to get to Miami Beach. Once there, she probably thought she would be less likely to get caught staying at a hostel rather than a hotel. Does anyone know how hostels work? Do you have to show ID or sign papers, etc?

That posting was dated the 31st. So, it was a glitch or something as he clearly hasn't been found.

I think the old poster was replaced with a new poster that updated the "last seen date". Perhaps that is why.

I am not sure how long she can get.
But she blew her chances at a Class 1 misdemeanor. You can only get a misdemeanor for Custodial Interference if you return the child before you are arrested.
I am stretching my memory really hard here, but I think since she took him across state lines, it's a Class 4 felony for her and a class 6 felony for the person that is keeping the him, if in fact she does have him stashed somewhere.

I am working off memory and don't have a link. I don't know where to find the sentencing guidelines for AZ.

Gabriel's case was "restricted" when his classification was changed from Family Abduction to Endangered Missing.

* Gabriel Scott Johnson is missing. He is an 8 month old baby boy, DOB 5/3/09. LE believes Gabriel is in the San Antonio TX area. He was last seen on Dec 26 at Raymond Russell County Park near Six Flags off I-10 near Fiesta TX.

* Gabriel's mother is Elizabeth Joanne Johnson, DOB 7/24/86, age 23, hometown Tempe AZ. LE reports that Elizabeth will not say where Gabriel or her car are, has threatened to harm Gabriel in the past, and has a very bad attitude. The date she last had her car is currently unknown. White 1995 Oldsmobile Delta-88, AZ plate AGZ4214.

* Gabriel's father has custodial rights to Gabriel in Tempe AZ as of Dec 28. Father is Logan McQueary, DOB 1/2/85, age 25, hometown Scottsdale AZ.


- Dec 18 Elizabeth took Gabriel from their home in Tempe AZ on Dec 18.

- Dec 18 - Dec 22 Whereabouts of Elizabeth and Gabriel unknown from abduction Dec 18 until they appeared in San Antonio TX on Dec 22. Google Maps from Tempe to San Antonio: 978 mi – about 15 hours 5 mins drive time.

- Dec 22 - Dec 26 FBI confirmed Elizabeth and Gabriel arrived in San Antonio on Dec 22.

- Dec 22 - Dec 26 Elizabeth stayed with Gabriel in San Antonio from Dec 22 until Dec 26 for a Christmas visit with unknown person(s).

- Dec 26 Tempe PD confirmed Gabriel was last seen on Dec 26 at Raymond Russell County Park near Six Flags off I-10. The park is near Fiesta TX at 20644 IH-10 West.

- Dec 26 FBI confirmed Elizabeth left San Antonio on Dec 26 and that Gabriel was not with her.

- Dec 26 - Dec 30 Elizabeth's whereabouts are unknown from when she left San Antonio on Dec 26 to Dec 30.

- Dec 28 Elizabeth failed to appear at a custody hearing in Maricopa County Superior Court's Family Court in Phoenix AZ on Dec 28, and custodial rights were granted to Gabriel's father.

- Dec 29 On Dec 29 at a little after noon, Elizabeth posted on her MySpace:

- Dec 30 Elizabeth was contacted by LE in FL on Dec 30. Google Maps from San Antonio TX to Miami FL: 1,382 mi – about 21 hours 27 mins drive time. Located by Miami Beach FL PD at approx 10pm EST.

- Dec 31 Elizabeth was arrested on a Fugitive Warrant Dec 31 at a youth hostel, IFH International Fun Hostel at 230 20th ST on Miami Beach in FL. Booked 12-31-2009 at 4:28. Held at Women's Detention Center, 1401 NW 7th Ave, Miami FL 33136. To be extradited to AZ for Custodial Interference felony warrant.

- Jan 1 FBI San Antonio called in to the case.
