So it sounds as though the little witch didn't want him, but also didn't want anyone else in his real family to have him either. what a piece of work. If she were my daughter I would ring her neck right after she told me where to find him. GRRR!!!

Found this link on Logan's soon to be ex sister in laws FB page!

http://www.foxsanantonio.com/newsroom/top_stories/videos/vid_863.shtml

"The natiosnwide search continues for a missing 8-month-old baby last seen in San Antonio.
His mom has been taken into custody in Miami but she refuses to tell authorities where baby Gabriel Johnson is.
The family that was about to adopt the baby believes he's still alive and still in town."

OK, in the video, Tammi was supposed to be the adoptive mother of Gabriel but Logan wouldnt sign over rights. I think Tammi knows more than she is saying! IMO

Yep, we had our eye on TammiFay from the very beginning. I think she knows more too but I'm wondering if the baby was handed over prior to the court order has Elizabeth really broken the law?

I was wondering the same thing, especially since Gabriel has her last name and not Logans....Would that make a difference?

BTW sorry about that! I must have missed the post about her!

Especially if there was no paternity test proving that Logan is the father of Gabriel. I would think if she consulted an attorney in this adoption that all she would have to do is state "father is unknown." I think it would still have to run in a public record instrument for a certain number of weeks but that instrument could be anywhere in the United States.
I'm really wondering if this girl has really done anything illegal.:waitasec:
I mean since when is it a crime for a 23 year old mother to place her baby for adoption?:waitasec: Especially if Logan isn't the baby's father.

By AZ law, in cases of unmarried parents, the mother officially retains sole custody until the court says otherwise.

In my very overworked memories recollection.

I think she did break the law she left and knowingly missed the court hearing about cutody.

Well this is certainly some turn of events! I don't know what to think now!

Adoption already set up w/Tammi, but dad wouldn't sign over parental rights.

Dad supposed to have weekend visit w/Gabriel, but said he was going to take Gabriel to his sister in Illinois, and then take Elizabeth to the desert and leave her there where nobody would find her.

Sounds like a major fight over Gabriel between mom and dad with threats and spite going back and forth on both sides.

But meanwhile, where's Gabriel??

ETA: I'm not getting Elizabeth's perceived threat to Gabriel. Dad wasn't threatening to harm Gabriel, but to take him to his sister in Illinois. If Elizabeth didn't want him (was trying to give him up for adoption), why not let him go to dad's sister?

BBM. That's what I don't understand. If she felt that she could not care for him and wanted to give him up for adoption, why would she leave the state with him and refuse to share his whereabouts? Wouldn't she have either let the dad take him or left him with her own family, or the future adoptive family, if she didn't want to deal with him? This is definitely not a simple case of a parent running with the child to avoid losing custody. Something happened.

Yep. There's more info in the video. Very much worth watching. Interview of Tammi.

Maybe she would get a "fee" from Tammi when the adoption went through. She may already have been given some money and expect more, but that won't happen if he gets custody.

I think dad had paternity established. Either he signed the paperwork at the hospital or he had dna done.
He would not get custody based on his word alone.

Saying that, what is it with the two of them? Mom and dad.
He threatens to take the baby to IL and get rid of mom.
She takes off out of state, even though she has family/adoptive parents for the baby.
And now the baby is missing. Missing only in our eyes, I think.
I think that baby is with family or friends and they feel they are protecting him from the dad.

I hope the court has a GAL in place.
When Gabriel is found, I hope there is a serious look taken at both mom and dad.

So why would her parents not cooperate with the police? it does not make any sense. All the police want to know is What happened to baby Gabriel.

If this baby is found safe, I hope he is taken away and given to a family that truly deserves him.

This sounds like the Melinda Duckett case all over.

Well if Miss Tammi is involved in facilitating an adoption and she lives in Texas, she could be in some trouble herself...it's against the law here.

Just saw this story on CNN. It will take me some time to catch up on this thread but I just wanted to post my heartfelt prayers that this cute little boy is alive and well somewhere. The small article I read stated the mother has previously made threats to harm this baby. I simply can't imagine. My son is 8 months old and is the best thing that's ever happened to me. He's my sunshine .

Please let this baby be safe. :praying:

If someone did have this child , I would think by now they would have contacted the FBI or the police. If someone does have him, they should know that everybody is trying to locate Gabriel.

I agree unless she sold him to somebody. You can't just sell a child.
You can't just buy a child. If someone bought him, they would know
they are in just as much trouble.
I don't see them coming forth.
IMO

makes me wonder what she did do to him if she could not get anyone to take him.

I think the reason they were at the park that day was to hand him over to someone.
I hope so and I hope he's fine.

But, he needs to be found. Whoever has him needs to come clean.

I could be wrong and she may have done something to him at the park, but I think whatever happened, the last time she saw this child was at that park.
