So, IDK what's what at this point, but it does seem like Gabe spent months with this family. So, at least he was safe for those months IMO.

But, the father does have rights. I'm not saying he shouldn't.

I feel a little better now that she at least cared enough to want the baby to have a normal family. The Smith's think he is still ok. They think EJ would not hurt him.

I'm praying they are right.

At this point, they know her better than anybody else we have heard from yet.
We have not heard from her family or friends at all.

So, at least there is hope.

Tammyfaye is the woman who posted on Elizabeth's Myspace page on December 31.

Maybe because she knew he would be found there.
Logan knew he had been there for months. They contacted him to sign adoption papers.

Also, formal papers were drawn up between EJ and the Smiths. So, they would have been the first place they looked for Gabe.

So, if she wanted him hid, that would have been the last place to leave him. IMO

Well that and I'm not sure how legal this 'adoption' was going to be. Or how legal it is when you have joint custody, if you give temp guardianship and physical custody of the baby to someone else.

The most recent updated article said the couple wouldn't be charged, which sounded to me like it's not on the up and up. I don't know. Just suspicious.

See BeanE, that's my point. It would not be a legal adoption without the father's signature and he refused.

She couldn't just leave the baby with the Smiths because the custody court case was coming up and she knew it.

ETA: EJ and the Smiths knew the adoption was not gonna go thru. So, EJ went to get the baby to "visit" the father. In reality, she went to get the baby to take him away from his daddy and either hide him or get rid of him. I'm hoping hide>

I would sure like to see the press conference that was held today. Anybody found it yet? I haven't.

Tammy Fay seems somewhat odd to me. She is trying really hard to put the dad in a bad light. Too hard, IMO, something's not right with her.

OMG this girl seems just like my DIL...before she left here with our granddaughters she all but destroyed us with her malicious lies, painting us in a very bad light and convincing people that she had recently befriended that we were the most evil people on the planet...all to her benefit, she received pity, money, and support in the evil that she was committing. She stole our son's life insurance money, stole his children from our home were we had raised them for 5 years and took off for parts unknown.
It's amazing to me that people like this are so convincing and that those they befriend are so danm gullible. I don't think Tammi Fay or her husband know a thing in the world about this girl other than the fact that she has a beautiful baby boy that they want to adopt. At this point they would believe absolutely anything Elizabeth tells them about Logan.

So that Tammifay on myspace looks a lot like the woman in the video. After looking at her pictures I am slightly disturbed. Is she really in a bubble bath with her 3 teenage kids? I am not sure this the woman I would leave my baby with!

In the July incident, McQueary told police Johnson tore a part a baby crib, took a knife and cut up baby clothes, McQueary’s clothes, the couch and smashed windows of the apartment and a television set. In another incident, Johnson later hid Gabriel but accused McQueary of taking him, according to a request for custody of the child McQueary filed with the Maricopa County Superior Court on Dec. 14.

The baby was found hours later at the home of one of Johnson’s friends after police conducted a search for him.

In the document McQueary wrote, “She has said several times in the past she doesn’t want the baby, has yelled and screamed at him when I would go to work, I would put him in his room, and when I would come back five hours later, he would still be in the room with no changed diaper and crying. I would ask her (Johnson) what she was doing, and she would just yell at me and say ‘shut that thing up.’”

Child Protective Services also has an open case against Johnson, investigating her for neglect of the child, according to the court document.

I didn't look at TammiFayes MS page. That bubble bath thing is odd.

Maybe I'm just trying to find something positive. If Gabe was with the Smiths for months, those were months he was away from a "mom" who hated him IMO.

I hope they know what they are talking about because they don't think EJ would hurt the baby.

But McQueary said he also was contacted by a couple interested in adopting Gabriel and was told if he wanted his son to have a safe home, he would sign adoption papers. McQueary said he did not sign any papers, and police said investigators questioned the couple and currently do not plan to charge them.

I might be inclined to pull them in & scare the crap outta them so that they make sure they do everything above board next time

If this is true that Logan was threatened, that is beyond disgusting and that couple should not only be ashamed of themselves but don't deserve to adopt a child

In the vid., Tammy says she met EJ and Gabriel at an airport 8 months ago, but EJ only contacted her "last month" (December) about adopting him. Seems like he was only with the Smiths a few weeks as EJ picked him up 12/18.
