Grandfather says she quit after 2 weeks because she didn't like her roommate.

I think that could be one of the reasons why she is so resentful of Logan. She most likely did not quit for him but she probably looks back now on what she gave up and could have had.

All I saw was a quote in one of the early articles by E's grandfather that he's the one she turned to since her parents' deaths. I think if I recall the father was a drug addict and the mother an alcoholic? Just going from memory here. It is in the sticky thread. I too was wondering about their deaths. I'm also wondering if E graduated from college..she supposedly had a scholarship but did she graduate and if so in what major?:waitasec:

Thank You! Can You point me in the direction? I believe if we knew more about her parents we could understand what is going on in her head.

I'm not taking of for EJ in anyway. I think whatever she has done is absolutely HORRIBLE, but I have to say this. Just knowing what I've learned about her background -allegedly having drug addicted and alcoholic parents, her mother being murdered when she was a young girl, her father dying at a young age, and being shuffled around from foster home to foster home - I can see why this girl had some serious problems. That's a lot for anyone to handle, let alone a teenage girl. Who knows what else she may have endured. Anyway, it's just really ashame that she wasn't put into some on-going therapy (maybe she was - I don't know). She obviously has a very wounded soul and is not capable of taking care of a child. She wasn't even taking care of herself. You'd think that once she had a baby she'd find away to work out the pain of her childhood so that she could provide little Gabriel with the best kind of enviroment possible - give him a happy and stable life. A life that she didn't have as a child. I just don't get it, but then again - I don't know her. For all I know, along with her emotional problems she could just also be a selfish person or worse - a sociopath. However, when I saw the pics she had carried with her in her hotel room (possibly of family members), that tells me that she is capable of some type of feeling.

ETA - Sorry for the ramble. THe girl confuses me. How could she not love and want to take care of Gabe? He is so precious.

Went to live with her GRANDFATHER, Bob Johnson. IMO. Her parents were dead by then.

Do you think he knew she was leaving for good? Good question though ~ I wonder how he feels about the car being left in Texas, of course, not to mention Gabriel being missing. :waitasec:

I haven't seen that he reported his car or Eliz or Gabriel missing, Mari. I wonder if he called Logan about it, but I haven't seen anything.

I wonder if she'd taken his car like that before.

He's been awfully silent lately, imo. It makes me wonder if he really wants the responsibility of being the sole parent for Gabriel, or if his parents will be the ones taking care of the baby when he's found? It's a lot for a young guy like him. MOO

He actually hasn't been silent, he's been posting on the Baby Gabriel FB group. He just doesn't choose to be in the media every 5 seconds. Any time he is in the media, he's accompanied by LE. In my opinion, he's doing the smart thing. He's not pandering to the NG type shows, which are mostly tabloidish. He's not trying to get people to buy his story, unlike the Smiths. He made his statements and sticks to them. He believes his son is alive and is allowing LE to do their job, which is exactly what he should be doing.

If he's not found soon...he never will be. Six months from now he will be unrecognizable. His mother isn't stupid...quite the opposite ...whatever she did, she's confident he won't be discovered. I have to ask myself...why is she so confident?

I haven't been able to find much more than that, I just wish she had a different last name, it's so much easier to find people that way, imo.

It was on HLN with Nancy Grace's producer (Latisha sp?) said her parents were both dead and were in 5 foster homes and has a grandmother in Boston and lived with grandfather, Bob Johnson since they were about 12 yo

I dont believe we know anything about him other than he is/was a childhood/teenage friend of Logan and how he & Elizabeth were introduced.
