Okay, lots of early news report say Tempe PD confirm Gabriel last seen at a park with Eliz on Dec 26.

Trying to find a statement from Carbajal quoting him saying it.

ETA: Odd - I swear the update page on the Tempe PD website originally said that, and I have a note for that as a source confirming, but it no longer says that.

I have a vague memory of Carbajal saying in a news video, or maybe on NG that people had seen him.

Still searching. Still no second cup of coffee.

Could this have been where EJ said she gave Gabriel to a couple at a park? The media going from these early reports of what EJ was saying?

But McQueary says he believes Gabriel is still alive, considering he and Johnson were last seen at a park after McQueary received the threatening messages.

Now, is that really what Logan said, or is this more media mis-wording? I wish to God they would put up raw videos of the darn pressers.

I'm going to go back through the news stories since the Monday presser and see if I can find anything else on this, because this is very important info.

In the very beginning, wasn't LE saying they were seen at the park? And we were all hashing out the human witness vs security camera witness?

I've been totally spoiled by Caylee's case. Excellent reporting, the Sunshine Laws giving us all legal documents, our own WSers who goes and picks up the documents at the clerk's office, media streams everything live on the net, news stations with their own legal analysts to explain things, plus we've got multiple verified attorneys and even a chemist in that forum!!!!

We're sticklers for facts over there, and that's the mode I'm accustomed to operating in, and this case is just driving me crazy at how little info the media gives the public, and how careless they are when it comes to accuracy.

If it has an IP, it's traceable. Don't know how far it would take them, but it's traceable.

Well let me clarify - if you're careful, it's not traceable.

- you have to make sure nobody can identify you at the library

- you have to not be stupid or risky enough to communicate with someone who knows you unless you and they use anonymizers etc

I read 20th or 21st in one report too. Now that you mention it, I do remember it being reported they were seen in a park, early on. Lots of misinformation out there, IMO

I'm not sure, but if that is the case, where was she from the 18th to the 22nd? Did I read correctly, early on, that she stayed in two different hotels?
