I can't access FB from work. But the McQueary's also set it up for people who aren't local to go to a website and light a virtual candle so they can participate. Can someone with FB access post that info here as well, PLEASE?
I will be participating virtually.

For anyone who can not attend Gabriel's actual Candlelight Vigil, you can light a candle for him at this website. After you click the link below, you will be directed to the website, from there just click on an un-lit candle and follow instructions from there.

BBM - IMO, but I think the theory is that she was scouting for a baby. May not make much sense to browse nanny ads, but then again, the Smith's don't make much sense period. Another scenario is someone acquainted with TPS found the ad and thought EJ seemed desperate. Just theories.

I thought I had read somewhere that TS did hire a nanny for H at some point, so if true maybe she was looking for another?

Or maybe the nanny ad was placed in an area of craigslist that she did scout

or here's what I think -- I use craigslist to find things and I know that the inexperienced ad posters do not always know where to place an ad on craigslist, so I look in other categories for what I want -- secondly, adoption ads are not allowed on craigslist, but I imagine they are placed there surreptitiously -- and TS knows this IMO

There are all kinds of possible scenarios

Look at this video interview of EJ's grandfather-- note what he states about EJ and craigslist

He says something to the effect that EJ could put a baby up for adoption on craigslist and get an answer in five minutes

There is published media saying that the Nanny ad and the dogs for sale ads were posted by Elizabeth. Prof found the article and linked it, and I am currently looking for the video where the reporter panned over to show the screen so the world could see the ads.
I'll post the vid when I find it.

You are my hero! Do you remember the video I am remembering? I have been looking for it, but videos are hard to find with key words, for me anyway -- I hope you find it

I want to make sure of something. Are we POSITIVE that she is placing an ad for a nanny? IF NOT then PLEASE do not speculate like it is the truth.

I need someone to please post EXACTLY what has been proven as far as the ads go and what has not.

Please, I don't want to have to shut down this thread and take the time to fix it so make sure we know what is solid and what is speculation.

Momdetective, since you are the main poster on the topic of ads I need you to gather up what is solid and what is speculation and put it in one post so we are all on the same page.

Thank you.
Tricia

 Hey Tricia...I will get a post together with the ads but it may take me a bit...dinner time around here so I have to feed the masses...lol

Here is one of the media stories reporting the craigslist ads. A few of us are still looking for the video that shows the specific ad being talked about.

http://www.kpho.com/news/22213153/detail.html

Snip: She posted multiple listings on Craigslist trying to raise money. She sold her dogs, took on a roommate and also offered to give away baby clothes. End Snip

And on a different subject but the same link. I haven't heard this before.
Snip: During the investigation, officers found Gabriel's collapsible crib was hastily tossed in her shed upside down, which possibly indicates she knew she wouldn't need it. End Snip

Snipped for space.
Yes, theoretically, TSP could have even typed in "baby" in the search bar of craigslist. That would have brought up EJ's alleged ad.

Interesting.

I'm desperately searching for a news article that will tie those specific ads to Eliz. Otherwise we can't know for sure those are her ads.

Here's a link to my post where I came up with 3 news articles that discuss the craigslist ads she posted -- so it is a start, Momtective, Tricia, et al

I have been searching for the video I mentioned earlier that scanned the copies of the actual ads, but have not found it yet
Thanks

I asked Hoppy a few days ago, who said at this point it probably depends on if they can get a mini mod.

What's the job description for mino mod? I'm logged on all day and most of the night anyway (arghhhh).....maybe I could help?

According to this news report, LE identified EJ's craigslist ads for a nanny in the report they filed when Gabriel was found at the Smiths.
Johnson had placed an ad on craigslist seeking a nanny to take the baby, according to the police report taken when she left the baby with the Smiths. Charges are pending from Tempe city prosecutors, according to the report.

Do we have a picture of that police report?

I don't know if this has been posted before, if so please forgive me. I don't even know if it's useful. This is a person seeking legal advice about adopting out their child. The dates are particularly interesting, from joining in December to the last one on Dec 31, and none since then. The link is to all the posts this user made, on page 2 so you can read them in order of date. There are a lot of similarities, wether this is a real person in that state, or (I'm jumping the gun of course) EJ or TS? Wierd, but we need anything, right?

I'm looking for the video too, Prof and NMK.
Unfortunately, I'm blocked from some sites, and some video doesn't work for me, and I don't have sound. I'm hoping to have some time to work on this at home tonight though.

ETA: there are quite a lot of video's here on this case, but they won't run for me, if anyone wants to check these. The one titled Couple: 'Maybe We Were Duped' might be a good place to start cause it coincides with the article mentioning the ads.

I was just thinking EJ may not have done research into underground adoptions and whatnot, but maybe legal help, and in so doing maybe someone contacted her? The last post she made, someone questioned which judge....and she never responded back...

What year was EJ born?

This fella seems to have a way of saying things without actually coming out and saying them, kwim? It seems he's done that several times now.

Anyone wonder if there is any complicity on the grandfather's part? Is he just trying to point us in the right direction without snitching on his granddaughter? And what do you make of his calling Gabriel 'the prince' with that interesting inflection??

Well, I know the video is out there somewhere lol problably right about the time we all found out about the ads, so I've been searching WS threads because lately I am getting all my news from here! lol

I remember seeing the exact same ads on the video

The print articles I have posted list the things she had ads for
The free clothes, the nanny, the roommate, dogs
The ads we are discussing all posted these exact items with a same phone number to call, all in the timeframe that the news articles state she posted these ads, and in the Phoenix craigslist --

Believe me I posted my doubts about these ads being hers quite a few threads back when this was first discussed
