And my post wasn't aimed at anyone in particular. I just don't want to see the purpose that we have undermined. In this case, LE asked for any and all info, and I'm sure they were prepared for all the craziness that was bound to come with that.

DaneBramage (love the name, BTW) take me with a grain of salt. That is the best piece of advice I can ever offer on this site. I just wanted to make sure that our other members understood that what they do is not wrong or immoral or unplanned for by LE.

I don't think we are going to find the baby on facebook or myspace. We might find some information to speculate over but I really don't think facebook is the key to finding this baby.

JMO, but the one true thing about either place is that they are pretty much guaranteed time suckers.

When is social media possibly of a teeny bit of use? Assuming it actually is TS posting away, it's occasionally interesting to see what her "thought" process is.

I totally hear you. I am a big boy (trust me ) There are sooo many redherrings out there. CA is the queen of taking these things and running. I fear that TS is using her playbook. My point was stressing caution. Hey, we live learn and move on.

Until I see strong indicators that Gabriel is not still with us I do not see how I can help by thinking he is not with us. EJ is in jail, so if she did something to him, I already know "who done it" and why. I would have to leave it up to LE to pressure her to find out where he is so his family could have closure. I really don't see much I could do to help.

That said, I might note that is this the first time I have posted anything at all to suggest this possibility, and it is because I do believe I can help in some tiny way, even if it as insignificant as being one voice of hope for Gabriel being alive.

Believing Gabriel is alive, and wanting him home is not always easy as finding him right now seems almost impossible, but there is a possiblity and the only thing I can do is to brainstorm here with others who care about our children as much as I do to spend hours upon hours here.

I don't believe anything that we do here or in the cyberworld can hurt the case, but I do believe that we have helped the case. How many times have I seen what has been sleuthed here come out in the news later? I have witnessed how tips our members have sleuthed and called in come out in the investigation a day or two later, so I am going to believe that our efforts have added rather than detracted, and I am confident in our ability to make a difference in in this case and in this world, and I would not be here otherwise.

I am hoping Gabriel's Candlelight Vigil this weekend will raise more awareness in this case, and when those people who have Gabriel see what a large, lovely, and loving family Gabriel has, just how many caring arms he has been ripped from, those people will help get him home.

I agree that Social Media sites are not going to literally help find Gabriel. But at the same time, I feel that if sleuthers are monitoring these sites for anything that MIGHT be useful, hopefully it's allowing LE to spend their time on hopefully more fruitful investigation. And they are helpful in the sense of getting the word out so people can keep their eyes open, and keeping people updated if further info is released, or that a child/person is still missing, etc. JMO.

Nothing really specific. Just that people are starting to catch the babysitter in some of her lies. There have been random mentions of things she's lied about on this forum as well as scattered throughout the internet. I was mostly just commenting because I didn't believe her from the get-go.
