I've said it before and i'll say it again. IMO, i wouldnt put too much stock in the hotel photo's. We don't really know the time frame between when the babysitter showed up and those pics. I believe the babysitter. I think most see her as attention grabbing and that maybe be a bit true. But, why go on TV just to lie on someone that is a stranger?

I think most wanna believe that Gabriel is alive, but now with the statement that tips are not coming in and the case is getting cold. This just confirms my suspicions that Gabe was mistreated and murdered. Dirty or not in whatever picture at whenever doesnt mean a lot to me. The proof is in the evidence and the likelyhood of some couple showing up with a baby and not being seen as suspicious is crazy.

EJ didnt give Gabriel away. That maybe was the plan in the beginning, but I dunno if she will ever tell the truth unless she is charged with murder.

I also thought about that knife by her bed. Maybe it was there because she was alone, in a new city. If someone were to break into her room, she may need to defend herself. I don't know, I have had weapons by my bed, just being a more responsible parent than her, I keep them out of reach. I know my son was lazy and not mobile at 8 months, and could not have gotten to it.

Thank you salvarenga for posting the picture of the teething feeder. I wondered what it was in that picture too.

That was actually my first thought. She was alone and afraid. Is Gabe crawling yet ?

The object Gabriel is holding has a cup on its bottom, not a ring like the teething feeder. Gabriel is holding a medicine dispenser, like this:

Those teething feeders come in different colors, including clear.

I have a little idea/theory I've been kicking around. TS has shown herself to be a big liar, so that makes everything she says suspect - icluding how she met EJ. Maybe they actually met through an adoption posting on CraigsList. Not only that, maybe EJ or TS found the mystery SA couple that way. In fact, there is just such an ad in today's general community section of CraigsList San Antonio posted by a couple looking to adopt. Maybe EJ's two hour meeting was to meet with someone who posted such an ad. I'd link but I don't know if I can without breaking a rule.

I sure hope LE goes through CraigsList for Phoenix and SA with a fine tooth comb.:twocents:

The feeder has a cup on the bottom of it as well. When my grandson wasn't sucking on ice or any fruit we had in it, we'd put the cup back on and he would would play with it & chew the heck on the ring. It may not be the same thing, I'm just speculating based on looking at the pic's of Gabriel and the colors look identical...I could certainly be wrong...

THANK YOU kappy! Many threads ago, I said that's what I thought it was too! My granddaughter has one as well and in the pic, if you look carefully..you can see that it's not solid on the bottom, kind of hollow. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that picture! (and thanks too, to whomever (can't remember now) posted it for you, lol) For myself anyway, you have solved that mystery. jmho as always..

My thoughts as well CHICANA. It may very well have been there for protection, stupid idea with a baby around although I doubt Gabe could have gotten to it yet..but who knows? We have to consider 'who' we're talking about here too. EJ was not the picture of a responsible mother even before this happened, ya know?

I have wondered also if she had it there in case Logan located her and came pounding on the door. I really believe she is a danger to society in general from everything we have read..

Because of its location and other factors, San Antonio is sort of a hub for adoption. I just came across another CraigsList ad, this one from a woman offering surrogacy for cash and a green card.

While I certainly agree that it is crazy to think that EJ went to a park and gave Gabriel to strangers she just met, and the chances of her placing an ad in SA and finding someone to go along with an illegal adoption are not that likely, I do not understand why we should discount the notion that EJ had some outside help BEFORE she chose San Antonio to place Gabriel somewhere either to hide for awhile, or to adopt to a desperate couple illegally --

I see the Smiths' and their lies about their involvement in this case, and IMO their motivation from first involvement in the media was damage control IMO

-- they came out seemingly forthcoming, while all the time they were actually withholding factual information that would implicate their involvement in all of this --

-- they tried to control what EJ stated in TWO "interviews," the second conveniently not taped--


-- they continue to try to control this case with ever-changing excuses for the things they have done wrong, but of course not until they are caught with the things they have done wrong --


My question for today---
Why would the Smiths call EJ in SA and offer their lawyer to help EJ get custody of Gabriel when they knew very well that is not what she wanted?

Personally, I don't think EJ bothered to dress conservatively because she's 23 and knows that she is physically attractive. Being her age, that's my logic...likely wasn't much more to it than that. IMO.
