I saw this in the paper this morning and was about to post it but see that BeanE is on top of it already this morning, actually BeanE is always on top of it

All I can say is after reading the article, it sure doesn't look promising. It leaves me to think that the investigators don't have as much evidence as I once thought.

BBM, I still go back and forth on this case. But one of the reasons I can keep hope, is that if EJ did kill Gabe I think that events and information would be more clear to show that. The fact that evidence and information is all over the place and inconsistent, leads me to believe that most of it was meant to confuse LE. Wild goose chases, if you will. Which goes more with the theory of an illegal adoption or underground shelter kind of thing. As I said, I go back and forth, but today is the vigil for Gabe, and I WILL keep my hope and prayers up today.

OH wow. Been reading the messages on Gabe's candles. I can barely see to type. There are some beautiful prayers there for him. Many are simple. But people sure have fallen in love with this little guy.

That would be pretty creapy! Yes, if they are reading this, please take him to a fire station. You don't even have to give them a name of who you are & dress him in a big pink dress so they think he is a girl & don't recognize him as a boy when you leave him, so you aren't held for kidnapping, etc.


One thing I just don't get is why EJ doesn't want Gabriel w/his dad? Does anyone know? Is he abusive or something?

Just my :twocents:, she is recreating the only life she has ever known. She feels VERY comfortable giving her baby to strangers because SHE deems him as an unfit father. The power we weld as adults by removing a child from their home and placing them in foster care is the power she welds now....she has had no say, no input until now. If not in her life but the life of her son. She sure has all of us in a chokehold.

I pray for this baby's return daily although with EJ NOT singing, my heart is heavy and troubled.

I was thinking last night that perhaps she told the trurth when she told Logan she killed him. I hope she didn't because I would LOVE to see this little boy brought home to his daddy however I can't get past this.

Why didn't she just tell him she gave him to another couple to raise and he would have a new daddy? She already knew he did NOT want to jump on board with an adoption. This would have hurt him as well, knowing she gave him away and he may never see his son again.

I think she may have snapped and hurt Gabe during a violent rage after she had talked to Logan on the phone. I find it hard to believe she would sit in jail and keep quiet if all she did was hand him off. I think she did the deed. And I pray I am wrong.

"Investigators, including a team from Tempe, have searched dumpsters in San Antonio, where the child was last photographed. So far, there has been no luck in finding Gabriel or his body." Quote from the article.

Glimpsed at the article and noted the above quote, I just can't help feeling that they have not put their heart and soul in searching for this child, obviously searching the dumpster was not going to glean any useful evidence didn't they wait to long?? I want to know why the landfills haven't been searched didn't I read that they have an idea where to search or did I dream this??? I know this would be a grueling job but they have wasted so much time! Sorry if I missed something here I've been out of the loop for a couple of days and quickly came to catch up.

This comment by Logan's cousin has been stuck in my head. The poster specifically states that "Elizabeth wanted to give Gabe up for adoption to a lady in Texas."
The comment was made on Jan.1, 2010 almost immediately after the case broke.
I'm wondering how long EJ had talked specifically about a lady in Texas adopting Gabriel.
It is also the one thing that leads me to believe that Gabriel is in fact in Texas, with an adoptive parent/s. Could be a single parent or a couple but from this statement I believe they are in Texas.

There's a big list at this site of local businesses and hospitals, stores, malls, etc. We need to get Gabe's face plastered everywhere there.

Also, is there anyone here that knows how we can get some flyer's made for locals to pass out and post up? Don't printing places sometimes donate these things?

Any suggestions or idea's would be great.

Hospitals, clinics, doctor's offices, libraries, family recreation centers, day care centers, zoos, museums, baby stores, drugstores, bulk baby supply stores such as Sam's Club, Six Flags, baby departments in department stores, portrait studios...

Those of you with babies and small children, where do you take your little ones for recreation, medical needs, etc.? Where do you go to buy baby supplies?

The fact remains that ONE person knows for sure what happened to little Gabe

and she is sitting in jail, keeping her mouth shut

IMHO there is no reason that Elizabeth would "confess"....if she sits tight they may not be able to prove a murder case against her...

I think that IF she had given Gabe up for adoption/sold him...she would have confessed by now or cut a deal

the more time goes on the more I feel that she was telling Logan the truth...

The pictures of poor little Gabe in the hotel give me a bad feeling...I think she overdosed him and then got rid of his body, I think she is clever and may have covered her traces...the idea of "search landfills" is noble but not very practical as time has passed and they have no idea where/what "grid" to search....cause they have no idea where she may have dumped his poor little body

everything else is just window dressing here...the TPS stuff is further and further in the past, a media blitz that has backfired and indeed may result in charges against TPS and her hubby....(relating to interference /obstruction of justice/conspiracy regarding the child custody case)....but it is not going to find Gabe

Elizabeth has the answers...and she does not want to tell...

like most criminals she has no reason or desire to "come clean, give answers, provide closure"....I know people and families make that plea but how many perps answer it?? Hardly any...they want to "get away" with their crimes. And it seems to me that is what Elizabeth intends to do. She is facing the kidnap, custody etc charges any way you look at it...those carry some prison time...but murder could carrry a death penalty. She may be rageful, violent, selfish, maniupulative but she is NOT stupid

JMO (sorry if this is depressing but I feel that it fits the critera of "logical" and also follows the Occam's Razor theory) thanks

Other idea's for places to get flyers/posters out:
malls, parks, book stores, Fire Stations, Pediatrics offices, Walmarts usually have boards at their entrances for missing children.

Does anyone know of any San Antonio based organizations that could help get these flyers out or offer any help or support to Gabriel's family?

What about websites, blogs, forums etc that moms go to for advice and to chat? The only one I've heard of is MomLogic because I haven't had a baby in a very long time.

What if we start posting on Craigslist? Need to check their posting rules, but I think we could hit the discussion forums, starting in SA then branching out through TX, then extend out through the U.S., even other countries.

I am *not* suggesting we spam! Only posting a missing notice and Gabe's pic where it may be allowed. Online place that young mothers particularly would go to.
