I'm going out for a while and when I return I fully expect to see that Gabriel has been found, alive, safe and well.
Y'all don't let me down now.

I think that TPS is trying to say that she met EJ in an airport last July but that she did not have any further contact with her until EJ got in touch with TPS in late November to adopt her baby. Yeah right like , she just remembered TPS from that airport meeting and called her up and took the baby over there, dropped him off and signed some POA guardianship papers.

IMO TPS has been "working" this adoption since last July and the bio dad had no idea what was going on. That's why she's trying to minimize the contact that she and EJ had from July to late November. But cell records and computer checks will fix that I'm sure.

I thought she said "they kept in touch" thru myspace (also some other way) ever since they met..No?

EJ's cell phone pinged in Victoria, Texas right?

well, what if she did kill her child and drove to Victoria to try and find a place to dump/bury the body?

I'm interested to see how big the diper bag and the backpack she had with her is.

Employee at bus station said BIG backpack..My 1st thought was he may be in the BIG backpack but immediately after realized that made little sense.

Yes she might be stumbling through that now because that's easy to trace and she knows it.
But she'll probably still imply that they've never actually met in person during that time.

Someone mentioned checking out those pics of Gabriel on her FB to see if he looks any younger in any of them. Good idea. I don't have FB myself so I can't do it.

"We should have been persons of interest from day one," said Jack Smith. "We are persons of interest. We were probably the last people to see Gabriel before he left town."
<snipped by LFlorida>

I wonder if Jolly Jack meant "we've always been interesting people; nobody realized it until all this." [j/k, kind of]

"Let's do this paperwork, and maybe she'll tell us where the baby is," said Tammi Smith. "It's not legal anyway, but does she have to know that? I mean, I'd rather get the baby back and sign the phony papers, but I guess the detectives don't want us to do that."

Yathink, Tami !?! Were you hoping to use a fast one to bypass the legal rights of the child's father and enlist the assistance of LE to do so? Or were you looking for your 15 minutes of fame as St. Tammi?

I am utterly appalled at how they crucified the father [and really, the mother, too] in the media from the very beginning. They might not be saints, but with these freaks acting as media ringmasters we may never know how good or bad the real parents are/were. TYVM, Tammi & Jack.

[Sorry, JMO - this adoption carp makes me C R A Z Y.]

I really think the Smiths should be charged with extortion. They say they were jst relaying the message to Logan, but how is that an excuse? They relayed a threat that they would benefit from. It must be against the law to do that.

Bolded by me. I truly believe this was the plan from the beginning, as incredibly crazy as it sounds to us.

So, if TS is involved, where is Gabriel? I would think that someone involved, even in an underground situation, would be speaking to LE under the cover of anonymity now that the story is in the media. It's obviously not the story that was told to them by EJ or TS.

Where is the classic undoing of so many of these babynapping plots, where a neighbor/friend/confused family member wonders how their neighbor/friend/family member came up with an "adopted' child out of nowhere that happens to look like the little boy on TV?

I'm assuming LE has asked for all the relevant search warrants. This child is being cared for by someone. I don't think you can keep a healthy, developmentally-sound eight month-old in a box under the bed. I find the park story really hard to believe.

I pray he's still with us, but I start to get more and more nervous as the days pass.

Well that "Nashville" connection has come up twice now in news reports and I still can't figure out where that's coming from. Does LE believe Gabriel may be in Nashville? Are they actively investigating there?

And again I ask the question, why didn't they just tell EJ that LM had signed the papers to get her to come back? If she could have been duped by "illegal" documents she also could have been duped by someone telling her they were all signed, sealed and delivered.

And how were they "relaying messages" when they weren't in contact with her?

Did they have any idea that LM's father was in law enforcement? How did they possibly think they could pull one over on the grandfather if they knew?

I hope Logan doesn't take the bait and show up on NG's disgraceful show. And, that LE quits talking to her. Let her keep bringing the people of interest in Gabes disappearance on. Why Marc Klaas keeps showing up on there is a mystery.

Maybe the POIs hooked momster up with some underground group whose mission is to help women disappear with their kids....keeping them away from dad. Momster messed up when she sent the death text to Logan. She was probably instructed not to have any contact with family and friends. But, being the spiteful hag, she couldn't help herself from trying to hurt him. The POIs see themselves as saviors..I want to see them do a perp walk!

I'm lost with that as well. Both times I have seen it mentioned, it was kind of cryptic. It was mentioned almost as a preface, then the following story would not mention it again.

Interestingly, a google search of the step son (mentioned in the article that starts off mentioning Nashville) will lead to some public records that list a warrant for him in Texas for an auto insurance violation, listing a Tx address for him as well.

I'm sure I am simply missing something, but I can't seem to connect the dots with the Nashville thing...

I don't think Marc Klaas really cares much for NG. I say this because I've seen
him roll his eyes and such when he didn't think the camera was on.
I think NG grates his nerves to be honest.
I think he does the show for the national coverage for his cause.
A lot of people of the world would not know who he is or about the great
work he does if he were not on the show. So, I think he is a great person who
can put past his aggrevation with NG long enough to try to get the word
out regarding missing and endangered children.

Tammi did set up a "Healing Waters" thing up there in 2004. so maybe that's the link. IDK

The one thing that is keeping me extremely hopeful in this case is that I feel very strongly that the Smith's are behind it all, and I do not think they have any interest in deceased babies. I think they are part of a bigger picture that involves living babies, and for that reason I feel that baby Gabriel is alive somewhere. I know there are a million factors that have to be weighed against that theory, and that things could be a lot different than I am thinking they are, but I really feel like whatever is being benefited by the people running the show there, it depends on Gabriel being alive.

:praying:

It would be very shocking if someone from the underground did talk to LE... they are extremely protective of, and secretive about their system and the people within it, because they pretty much are breaking laws to keep children hidden.

Yes, the Smiths are very connected to Nashville but I'm wondering how Nashville is connected to this case. :waitasec:

Here are some interesting records on Tammi Smith from Nashville.

Tammy Faye Smith-Ms. Smith was neither present nor represented by legal counsel.
Ms. Schean Belton represented the State. The Consent Order states that Ms. Smith
practiced without a license providing colon hydrotherapy in the Nashville area at her
clinic, “Healing Waters.” She provided this service for fifteen (15) months or more. Ms.
Smith advertised on her “Healing Waters” web site that “Colon Hydro-Therapy helps
heal and alleviate a vast majority of diseases and disorders.” Ms. Smith also provided ion
foot baths, infrared saunas, advice regarding nutritional needs and maintained a small line
of nutritional supplements for purchase. The Consent Order stats that Ms. Smith must
immediately cease and desist from practicing all aspects of naturopathy, including,
specifically the use of hydrotherapy, massage and administration of botanical and
biological drugs. Ms. Smith shall pay two (2) Type A civil penalties in the amount of
two thousand dollars ($2, 000.00) assessed for each violation of the Medical Practice Act.
Dr. Rosen made a motion to accept the proposed Consent Order and Dr. Lovelady
seconded the motion. The motion carried.

The above entry is on page 7 of the document.

Is this why she moved to Arizona ?
