Well...JMO...that is just a blog that is to "preserve the original family" ..
while I certainly applaud their effort to stop black market adoptions I think they may
go too far cause the truth is that there are a lot of "families" we see in these "cases" that should not be "preserved"

I don't want to lose focus on the biomom...

she began threats to Gabriel when he was 3 weeks old

A little O/T - but interesting. While looking around on the Family Preservation link/blog that was posted, I found some court rulings regarding parent's constitutional rights.

Grandfather Of Elizabeth Johnson Thinks She's Lying
Bob Johnson Still Believes Gabriel Is Alive
http://www.kpho.com/news/22168065/detail.html

Maternal Grandfather (Elizabeths)
Finally we hear something from her family, and a little about her personality.

~from link~
He says moving in and out of five foster homes as a child made her that way. But he said the straight "A" student also developed an irrational temper that led to bouts of rage.
"She should have sought professional help. She did seek help for post partum depression and she was on medication and during that time she seemed a lot more mellow and everything was better," Bob Johnson said.
But she stopped taking that medication shortly before she hopped in Bob's car with 8-month-old Gabriel and headed to Texas

I agree that Elizabeth was probably a threat to him and didn't want him maybe - but that doesn't mean the father's right to be a parent doesn't exist. In this case, I think the headline is correct - Tammi is a probably a predator and she obviously tried to bypass the father's right to his own child. That's horrible as I see it.

NG did it because "we're not here to vilify anyone"
:banghead:

Nancy doesn't watch her own show very much does she? :waitasec:

I'm just now watching Tammi on NG. Now she's only known EJ for 3 or 4 weeks ??? This woman can't keep her story straight.

It's pretty bad when your own grandfather thinks you are capable of harming your child.

Are we sure that the FB page posted is TPS? When I went to the page, the only thing that is showing up are a bunch of notices for scores and prized on games.

Thank you all for the updates. Great work.

I'm sorry, but i have to ask now, why is this link creepy? Should I have I have been logged in to notice its creepiness? I did recognize the girl with the bright blue eyes .jpeg.[/QUOTE

I think( and I am not speaking for others) because it's a baby making a sshhh gesture. Like don't tell anyone...
To me it's creepy because of the case and all that TPS posts about wanting babies and preying on girls and their kids.

Ooooh, okay. Thank you for helping me out with this one. ;)

What did this woman do, put an ad on Craigslist saying she had a baby for adoption? Why are the Smiths lying about how they met her? It is obvious that they have been sending out feelers for a baby for a while, the web is full of their messages about looking to adopt or foster a baby. One of the things that bothers me is in the interview that EJ did from the jail she talks about how she was given so much praise for "doing the right thing" and giving the baby to a loving home and now all the sudden she was being villified for handing him over to strangers. I think the only people that were giving her praise were the Smiths. The brainwashed this negligent mother into thinking she was wonderful for giving him up, instead of the truth that she just didn't want to deal with him. She really sounds shocked that people are questioning her "brave" decision.

Hmmmm... Craigslist... has anybody perused the listings on there? I understand babies for sale are listed as Disney toys. This info surfaced in Shaniya's case.

I'm off to look at Craigslist ads...

Okay I was at about 80% sure Elizabeth killed Gabriel. Now I'm at 98%.

God please help LE find this baby, whatever has happened to him.

Question: can LE do searches, e.g., landfill searches, without the public knowing? Anybody know of a case where LE searched landfills and asked the media not to publicize it?

Do we have any WSers in the San Antonio area willing/able to take a ride out to the landfills and see if LE's there searching?

Full raw interview of Elizabeth at the jail by the news station (video link with audio only):

http://www.kpho.com/video/22155911/index.html

Omfg she sounds just like Casey. Well... except that Eliz is articulate and well spoken.

This interview is unbelievable. Tammi is also talking with Elizabeth as well as the reporter.

I'm going to put Craigslist on hold for now, and work instead on transcribing this interview. Unbefrigginlievable.

(BeanE is using the F word a lot this morning :-) )

ETA: I'm dying here. You all have GOT to listen to this interview. What a way to start my day. I already had to take extra blood pressure meds.

Okay, that's it. After listening to that interview, reading what the grandfather said, and with all the other info from the Smiths, I'm at 100%. She killed him.

I'm not an expert, but MOO is that she's most definitely personality disordered, most probably sociopathic, and I think she may be having a psychotic episode or close to it.

I say psychotic because whereas she's not having hallucinations or delusions such as aliens or demons after her (or not admitting to them), and she is oriented to reality in terms of knowing where is physically (she knows she's in jail, she knows she's been talking to the FBI, she recognizes Tammi, she remembers her dealings with Tammi), she is not connected to reality in terms of recognizing the gravity of her situation, or the gravity of the implications for Gabriel.

It could maybe not be psychosis at all, but just sociopathy, i.e., she doesn't see anything wrong with what she did, and doesn't care about Gabriel therefore doesn't even think about the gravity for him.

Actually, now that I've typed this LOL I'm going with sociopathy. It's hard for me to say psychotic when someone isn't hallucinating or having delusions such as demons or aliens or thinking they're the Pope. *Could* still be a psychotic break, but this one definitely will take a psychiatrist to determine.

From the grandfather:

"If she didn't want you to know something, you ain't gonna find out," Johnson said.

He said moving in and out of five foster homes as a child made her that way. But he said the straight "A" student also developed an irrational temper that led to bouts of rage.

"She should have sought professional help. She did seek help for post partum depression and she was on medication and during that time she seemed a lot more mellow and everything was better," Bob Johnson said.

But she stopped taking that medication shortly before she hopped in Bob Johnson's car with 8-month-old Gabriel and headed to Texas.

"She had this cockamamie idea that she was going to change her Social Security number and name and his Social Security number and name and run forever," Bob Johnson said.

But her grandfather doesn't buy it. He tried to envision her scenario.

'Oh by the way, how would you like to have a baby, oh it's free, yeah it's free,' Bob Johnson said. "That's hard. That's hard to really believe, but it's a simple story. It's a story that you can repeat without stumbling."

He thinks she gave Gabriel to a family in Texas, and is lying now so the boy will never be found. But she has threatened to harm the child, and Bob Johnson wonders if her past and her struggles with self control eventually got the best of her.

"It's possible that in a moment of anger, depression, whatever, that she carried out her threat. I don't even want to think about it because, what a waste. What a waste," said Bob Johnson.

While researching on Babybrokers,I can say they promise these young girls things that we know can never happen.
One thing I know from this is they do tell these girls they can get new social security number and start a NEW LIFE.

Gabriel is alive somewhere, his mother did not kill him but she has been duped by a band of baby sellers who took advantage of her mental state.

Okay, I need more than coffee this morning! From Today Show....now it's Indianapolis where Tammi met EJ...and she placed the baby with them 7 months ago! This is ridiculous!

LE saying they have information that Gabriel is alive! Not releasing that info right now.

I have to say that after listening to that interview, I'm starting to waiver about whether he is alive too. The Smiths did seem to try to direct the conversation about their involvement in this right up until she took off but they both do seem to try to make her understand that she might spend the rest of her life in jail on murder charges if she doesn't give LE more information about who she supposedly left the child with. Since she does seem to be a little unstable, would they have that kind of confidence in her not to tell LE that this was all set up and planned?

The Smiths seem to be trying to distance themselves from their role in their attempts to get custody of Gabriel by directing EJ about questions as to how they met and why she wanted to keep Gabriel from his father but I'm not so sure now that they know what she's done with him.

Then again they both do seem to talk like people who know a lot about adoption, guardian and custody issues and I found it very odd when Jack said something about people possibly "keeping him in seclusion" until he was "past a certain age and could filter back into the system". Who talks like that?
