Not sure if this has been posted

http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.g...rtCases/caseInfo.asp?caseNumber=CR2009-008392

Case Information
Case Type: Criminal
Location: Downtown

Case # CR2009-008392-001
State Of Arizona - (1) Plaintiff
Elizabeth Johnson - (2) Defendant

Filing Date 12/28/2009
Docket Date 12/29/2009

There are no calendar events on file

There is one case document listed there, a DCO - Direct Complaint filed by the State of AZ. I don't see anyway to view it online though. I wonder if the news station had to go to the courthouse and get it. Most likely they did.

I have never heard of police being able to track a cell phone that is turned off. Or that they can remotely turn one on. I am sure that is not too far off though in the realm of possibilities for the future.

I think what I have heard is that a cell phone that is turned off might occasionally ping, but if the battery is removed nada

Yeah... it looks like they went and viewed it at the courthouse.

I found the Family Court Case documents also, but not sure if they are helpful

If I understand your question I would say Matamoros.

But I wouldn't call it Eastern, more south running parallel to the Gulf of Mexico.

I hope this map shows up since I am not worth a darn at this stuff
http://maps.google.com/maps?client=...28.805267,-97.003598&spn=5.475954,8.55835&z=7

IF you go EAST from Victoria, you would end up in Louisiana/gulf of Mexico!
Matamoros (sp) is across from Brownsville, Tx and that is no where near EAST.

Just google "Victoria, Texas map" and then back out a little. Lord, I've been all over that state. Sure is BIG. lol

I can't sleep. I'm worried about this little boy like all of us are. :(

Well, I am going to bed good night all.

I hope baby Gabriel is alive and one thing that is breaking my heart is that if he is that he hasn't seen anyone he knows in about 2 weeks. But also that he will probably never see his mom again. She is sure to have her parental rights terminated after this stunt, and although she doesn't deserve him... boys need a mommy.

Good article you need to read all of it

indeed it is, esp. this part!:

"Elizabeth told her grandfather she planned to circumvent McQueary by avoiding him for 30 days and then claiming abandonment. It didn't take long for him to catch on. He petitioned for full custody on Dec. 11."

!!!!! wonder where she learned that little trick

On my phone if the signal is really bad you can only text like it wont do voice. But I do know that 'PINGS' normal 'PINGS' happen weather you use the phone or not its almost like a locater ping. They used it resently when a girl went missing they kept pinging her cell phone to find her location. I dont know all the details but I know all you have to do is get a signal any kind of signal to it and it PINGS call text.. w/e w/e.. and they dont have to answer. So it must be some kind of locater not to sure though how it works yet. So long as the phone is on they can PING it. (at least from what my provider said)

My grandson just told me that he thinks if he tries to text when he doesn't have a signal, it holds the text and keeps trying to send it... so it goes as soon as enough signal (have to ask the real experts, you know :)

Mexico.jpg

Ransom, I certainly meant no disrespect, it's just that everytime I think I've got my head around this the scene, stage and props change. Bad reporting by the media, Smith's who wouldn't know the truth if it bit em in the arse, and way too little sleep I guess...sorry, really I am.

I do see your point about Mexico being in the wrong direction so here again I'm just shaking my head, I really don't know what the h3ll to think. I wish someone would just bring the baby home so we could all have a little peace.

I think we need to re-watch the video interview of the guy that sold her the ticket. He talked about how much the ticket cost, that she was the only white person on the bus and the size of her backpack. I think this led us all to believe she did buy a ticket on the Tornado Bus Lines and NOT the Greyhound.

I'm tired, but I will try to find the video. I think it came out Friday.

Yeah, I would guess she needed and expert to advise her on that one. Wonder who? I also wonder just when Tammi put her in touch with the Nashville gal?

I really believe that Elizabeth is going to tell all. Maybe wishful thinking, but I feel that is coming if it hasn't already.

Of course, hasn't her lawyer, whoever that is, been provided by Tammi and Jack? That's what was said in the jailhouse interview I thought - by Tammi?

I dont know , but it wouldn't work, here in Colorado it is not considered abandonment until 1 year has passed that the other parent has had no contact or support :)

From the article that Mysticrose posted.

Since then, Bob has heard from his granddaughter twice. First, she called to ask for Tammi Smith's home phone number to call her collect from jail. In the second conversation, which was recorded by a local television station, Elizabeth said she had not killed her baby but had given him to a couple in a San Antonio park.

Why would she have to ask for Tammi's home number if the Smith's set this up?

I am back to Square Una.

I want to send two links to somebody here and see if you think the pics match. Any volunteers? If so, PM me

I wonder if there is some weird way to make it work if you go to a different state and then claim abandonment?

  • #295
I don't have a link, but I think the abandonment statute is no contact for 6 months in AZ.
I was just looking at it earlier when I had all the adoption statutes up. I'll look, but I don't know if I can find it again.

If she did give him away to another couple through the same channels that you think TS sent her... dont you think she would be a bit angry that she gave the baby to someone else? TS's only motive to help Elizabeth is that she might eventually have the baby herself. By now I would think she would have turned on her and told all she knows. It is clear if Gabriel is ever found neither of them will ever see him again. And worse... This will definitely harm her chances of ever adopting another child!

This maybe far fetched but Im thinking that the Smiths think as long as they keep E around...theres a chance that E will have ANOTHER baby for them (maybe for some money & life expenses paid).

I don't know, but Tammi & Jack stated on NG last night that they do not have a home phone... only cell phones.

ETA - Maybe she meant their cell phone #? Maybe she hadn't memorized it, and once they took her cell phone away from her, she couldn't remember it?

TS is posting this stuff now on her site

Pat Brown:
This is the call I find so interesting: note at the end what the Smiths say to Elizabeth. They emphasize that if she can't help identify who has the baby and for some reason they are able to hide the baby for years, she will be in jail all that time for murder,
If they helped her hide the baby, why would they say this? And why would she cover for them?Raw: Missing Baby Mom Speaks With CBS 5 News
www.kpho.com
Elizabeth Johnson reveals new details in an exclusive CBS 5 News phone interview.

there is a bunch of posts after this with other peoples names then TS says:

T**** P***** S****: Thank you Pat! It was a pleasure talking with you today...Call me later if you want to do that thing on Wednesday, OK! BTW, this would be a great post on my wall.......lol....
