What on earth does she have to be happy about? Is she enjoying all the attention? People want something for her and she holds all the cards. Is that it? I don't care if it was recorded, I would have demanded she tell me what she did with the baby. Why is he tiptoeing around her? Is he so afraid of her rage that he just plays along with whatever she says? This is so frustrating. She is the only one who has all the answers and she thinks it's a game. It isn't. A baby's life is at stake here.

I agree. It's been long enough. She won't talk to the police or FBI (At least so we're being told), then the people that she DOES choose to talk to should start trying to extract information.

Something that does restore a tiny bit of hope again, if she is smart enough to know NOT to talk on a secure line, then she should have been smart enough to know what Texas does to baby killers. I understand that rage and/or a mental breakdown would trump any logic though. But I can not let myself give up hope yet.

I'm VERY angry that the news articles coming out tonight are not including this information.

I don't really understand the 'interview' either. Normally interviews are granted to media only and that is very discretionary with the jail. Now with TPS being a POI connected to this case, I can't see her being allowed to interview or even communicate with EJ. :waitasec:

I just found a little "insider" info on going to and from Mex. illegally. You may not need a passport going onto mexico if you are Walking in! They rarely stop the walker iners, LOL, but walking out yes. there is some walkway next to the bridges??
It is not uncommon at all, to pay someone you do not even know to take a baby or child either way! There are actually people that specialize in children only, not adults! For the most part it is for a good purpose, as in reuniteing children with their parents that are already here in the states.
Also, "personal info and paperwork" can be bought real cheap, 2-300 bucks to "borrow" ones info. people sale theirs and their childrens info for this purpose regularly.
The thing that is really interesting IF there is a mexico connection(Let's hope not!) San Antonio is a "checkpoint" of sorts, for coyotes(people that get you over) to drop off immigrants. Victoria will sometimes be used under certain circumstances, as other towns between here and there. BUT San antonio is a "key player". Keep in mind, these "transports" work both ways.

EJ was here in SA for a week? she paid for a week in advance. I do not think it is some coincidence, that her time was up, and she just happened to find a couple in a park. The park she speaks of, is on the other side of town. the side she was on, is not the best. IMOO she was here that long for some reason. Did she leave early from AZ because of the court date? and the handoff was not until a later date? If she was too ask a coyote the best way out of dodge, they would have pointed to one of the bus stations like she took. They require only cash. no ID.

Hopefully, all this is not worth the time it took to type, and baby Gabriel, is somewhere safe, here in the states, ready to be found. If he is in mex. I fear he will never be found.

the detective I talked with from Tempe today though said there was A LOT of information for them to look into and lot of leads and he chuckled abit about the case load so I am guessing that maybe they just want to broadin the search or something? Hopefully nothing bad.. HOPEFULLY!!!!

I agree. It makes perfect sense to keep them from talking. Unless LE is hoping to record some important info between the two of them, but grandpa kind of blew that theory right out of the water tonight.

I think EJ and TPS should be kept from speaking to each other, until (and IF) TPS is cleared of connection and is no longer a POI.

Thats not what I want to hear!! I want to hear that I am way off base, and nothing like that could ever happen to Gabriel. I hate even thinking about it. but decided, that since I have the means to get this info, I should. Just in case.
and FTR, It cost 2-3 thousand to get over the border to the U.S. for a child. Not sure about the other way. If someone has money to throw around, it would be considered pocket change for the bigger picture, a baby.

What I do not understand, is who would go through this much trouble?? There are so many other babies? This really confuses me.

DairyGirl - your post sounds just like one from the Caylee threads.

EJ & the clowns surrounding her remind me so much of KC & the A's that it's scary to think of - given what happened to Caylee....I keep trying to have hope that baby Gabriel will be found.

Then posts like yours bring me back to a different reality....unbelievable that we're seeing another case play out like this, w/ a young, unstable mom that no one wants to pizz off. ugh.

I've watched them too but have never seen 3 different facilities shut down at the same time. Sounds like a normal scheduled lockdown to me to do a shakedown of all cells for contraband. Bet the sheriff knew this was going to take place and the phone call wouldn't happen anyway. This kind of left TS with egg on her face.

I thought that visitors or phone calls had to be previously scheduled.

Not in Texas at least. You just go on the visiting day and sign in. Now you might have to wait for anywhere from a few minutes to a couple of hours before you get in but its not scheduled.

I hope that if he called you and chuckled a bit, then that means he was not calling you because he was doing a murder investigation.

I've been sitting here with tears in my eyes since reading the Craigslist posts but now I will keep my hope up until the news conference. Thanks again for your post.

I believe if it was a murder investigation it would of been a different kind of detective all together.

Now that I think about it, I bet TS made up the whole story about the visit/interview today. Iirc, the county jail site said that visiting hours are generally over by 2:30, yet it was after that when TS said she was going to the jail to talk to EJ. Then, when she posted about it being cancelled, she said something to the effect that Sheriff Joe himself wouldn't give the green light for the interview.

TS seems she LOVES getting attention and making herself sound important. I imagine that tomorrow, TS will be proclaiming that she's the one that made Sunday's game winning touchdown for the Arizona Cardinals.

I'm looking at a picture of Gabriel right now, and it's cropped but it looks like he's sitting on Santa's lap. I know that TPS said that Gabe visited Santa with them, but it made me think anyway... he missed his first Christmas I guess I wonder if she even hugged him that day. GAH!

I am trying really hard to start this year off by being a more forgiving person, but I want to waterboard these people until someone talks!!!!!!
