The Smith's are something else...omg! But, the one good thing I can see from this is that if (and it seems obvious) they were involved then I feel Gabriel surely is alive. We need to find him....TODAY!!!!!!

I hope somewhere out there a detective is taking screenshots of TPS's FB writings and showing them to EJ.

And I hope they are telling her "Look how your friends are turning on you and playing dumb".

Then I hope EJ has one of her little temper tantrums and spills her guts.

I really believe that if the Smiths were honest from the beginning little Gabriel would be home right now. But with all the time that has passed he could be anywhere.

Wow you can be sure they are going to do everything in their power to make sure he is not found, because if he is found alive these two are going to jail for a longgggg time.
I still think something went wrong and EJ hurt the baby, but it would be awesome if he is still alive. The Smiths are into this over their heads and it would be best if they just shut their mouths!!!

Police: Person Of Interest Withheld Information

In a phone interview with CBS5, Cherry said he was Smith's first cousin and that the two are very close. Cherry also reiterated that he had never met Johnson and that he could only speculate as to how she learned his name, in order to use it on court documents.

But later Tuesday night, in a call to CBS5, Tammi Smith tried to explain.

"I remember the conversation between me and (Elizabeth). We were laughing about it and I just commented on how Logan (McQueary) and my cousin (Craig Cherry) have the same record about DUI's and stuff and we were making a funny joke about that."

But in the same call, Tammi Smith admitted she drove Johnson to court to file the paternity request. She even made three copies of the paperwork that clearly labeled her cousin, Craig Cherry, as the possible father of the boy she wanted to adopt.

I am very thankful for all of you providing FB comments (paraphrased of course !). I did have an account a couple of days ago, was even accepted as a friend (within minutes), but decided to cancel. Anyway, thanks to you all for providing us with the updates !

I have a feeling this whole thing is about to bust and hopefully Gabriel will be home soon with the father that loves him.

Interfering with law enforcement
Hindering law enforcement
Creating a false document
Menacing
Custodial interference
Contempt of court/assisting

And that's if Gabe is alive and well.

Let us not forget attempted extortion.

Given that Tammi made copies of the papers and took EJ to file them, she knew what was on them... she can play stupid all that she wants, but she had to know his name was on there. Tammi was/is entrenched far too deep in this to not pay attention to every detail on papers being filed... JMO

ITA. And to add to this:
If Elizabeth didn't want Tammi to know she used Craigs name on the papers, she would never have let/had her copy them for her.

The Smith's are scalp deep in this crap, IMO.

Whatever the answer, we know it is EJs fault acc'ding to TayJay thinking. Hope EJ can talk when the lawyer gets the story.

And of course is IS Elizabeth's fault....think about it... and ignore the dog and pony show the media hungry Smith's are putting on

Elizabeth is a violent and abusive adult who has mistreated Gabe since he was born....IMHO she is a heartless sociopath and whatever happened to little Gabe is her fault

the Smith's might be accessories but Elizabeth is the one who knows the facts, knows where he is and if she killed him or not

I think a lot of people are off track with the Smiths..frankly they bore me now..I don't care what that self absorbed colon cleaner and her old mouse hubby have to say unless it directly leads to finding Gabe

Elizabeth is the one who knows..no one made her do anything, no one could "lead" her...she is 23, not 13....I place the blame right where it belongs...on her

Still catching up but an idea to help those that are not FB friends. If somebody here were to set up a FB account and 1) make it public, 2) befriend TS and 3) post YOUR link here, would not everybody get to see everything?

EJ does deserve the majority of the blame, but I do not want the Smith's walking out of this unscathed. People like them are rarely boring to me.

Kim Hale, commander for the Tempe Police Department, reiterated that Victoria is not on their radar.
Hale would not comment during a news conference when asked about an earlier report that a cell phone call that was traced to the Victoria area, but said they are working with San Antonio police.
Steve Carbajal, media relations sergeant for the Tempe Police Department, said they are not zeroing in on Nashville, Tenn., but are investigating possible leads there.
"Our first goal is to recover, Gabriel," said Hale who admits they are uncertain if the child is alive or dead.
We have statements and time stamped photos, said Hale, which place the child in the area and a possibility of being alive.
However, Hale admitted that because of the mother's statement that she killed the child, they are looking into that possibility as well.
"There are many different options," Hale said.
Officers have received between 20 to 30 tips a day.
The FBI is also assisting by conducting searches in Florida, Louisiana, Arizona, Texas and Tennessee.

Sounds to me like the Smiths need to take advantage of their own business and cleanse themselves. Cause they are full of SH**!

No reward...

well....I guess no one in the family had the money to put up?

The Smiths are probably in debt and their future business might be tanking?

Not to mention..with this group who would wish to donate money to a "reward fund"??
who would handle it?

In South Florida we mostly have "reward" and donations handled by the news media...a couple tv stations and the paper....(cause of various ridiculous hoaxes and mix ups)...
Even when someone poor or old goes missing the "Crime Stoppers" will put up some sort of reward and often the media groups like "Neighbors 4 Neighbors" at Channel 4 will step up. I personally think this is a better system

For instance, Channel 4 supervises Michael Brewer funds and fundraising...(and just recently pulled off some idea to raise $50k for "new furnishings for Michael" by a "family friend") I honestly think it is better to have a neutral media /legit charity like this oversee stuff. I am amazed at the way other cities let people in crisis try to get out there and pass the basket themselves

I wonder if the media /Crimr Stoppers could put out some sort of reward?? Not sure it would help that much in this case as IF he is with some "adoptive parents" they probably have seen all the media and are now hiding him?? Or the other sad alternative the only one who "knows" is Elizabeth?

I don't know FB, but I would *think* that would allow us to see only any posts from TPS to the account described above, and vice versa. Not all the posts on TPS's page as were being paraphrased last night since those are on TPS page itself. Those familiar w/ FB and how it works, correct me if I'm wrong please!

Can someone please tell me Craig's middle name so I don't have to wade back through the thread. TIA

No, you could set it to show status updates, friend updates, and make Tammi the only friend, giving access to her friends-only profile.
The only issue is, that there is a good chance she reads here, and she'd know who to block.

Alot of people are specualting about the airport meeting between EJ and TPS, I am too, so I went back on TPS FB and saw where she posted on 4/11/09 that she just got back from Calif where she became a National colon whatever therapist. And then on 4/26/09 she post a hello from mexico and they are finally using their time share. One other post was about possibly going to Vegas in May.

On an earlier post we were also questioning the fact that JS talked about how excited TPS came home talking about meeting a girl at an airport, but on NG last night, they both were talking about them meeting a girl at the airport, or at least alluding to the fact that they were both there.

If TPS was so bold as to go up to a young lady who was crying or visibly having a tough, tough time, she had an alterior motive. The most any normal person would do is offer to help, or just listen if someone wanted to talk, but they wouldn't talk about adoption.
