The thought occurred to me tonight about overseas and potential passports. If EJ had a fake ID, maybe poor Gabriel was given a fake passport as well.

Did anyone else catch on NG when TPS was talking about how she knew EJ was lying to her that she mentioned that the circumstances EJ was describing about the mystery couple were remarkably similar to how EJ met the Smiths? TPS was implying that it all sounded hinky to her (though last week she didn't have a problem with it at all and said that EJ was just trying to protect her baby). Then she mentioned that EJ said that the mystery couple had a tan carseat that they brought with them and TPS said to NG that the carseat that she and JS had was tan too. Didn't she say a few days ago that they had to ask EJ to use her carseat because they didn't have one?

Me too, and usually I have the sense that the child is deceased, but in this case, I don't.

I think it's the demeanor of babymom AS WELL AS the Smiths. They aren't devastated, they are almost cheery.

I could be completely wrong on this, but I imagine that a passport would be a lot harder to "fake" than a state ID. And also a lot higher chance of being snagged in the long run.

How could an adoption agency help her and it be an illegal adoption like she told TPS? I don't even see the point of signing papers. Who is going to see the papers? If this were done legal we wouldn't be in the place we are now, not knowing where Gabriel is.

My question to this is -- Where are the papers?
Did LE find them in the car or hotel room? Do the "adoptive" parents have? And why would any adult think that these papers would hold up in court? Unless the papers state that she GAVE Gabriel to them, so she cannot claim they kidnapped him. Just my thoughts....

Yes, I believe he is alive but I have my doubts that they will ever find him, unless they have some really, really good information that we just don't know about yet.

SOMEONE set EJ up with this couple IMO --is not it possible to put pressure on whomever does know the name of this couple until they give it up? (the name of the couple that is)
If EJ did pick a couple off of CL than the FBI can narrow that down -since that type of ad is not allowed are there really that many? and that many that EJ could find?

That part about the papers just doesn't sound right to me... so Yami is saying an "adoption agency" - I'm taking that to mean an illegal one or something along the fringes. Was paperwork signed and the couple was going to alter claim it was notorized at least - I think this is easy to fake. I don't know what good that would do them, except to claim EJ was lying and they 'thought' it was legal (no reason for her to lie about that though).

Just to note this" Tammi said on NG that EJ was only telling her stuff that she had already told her lawyer.

I just remember her face last night or the night before when she was asked why she had to have the news people with her and she (unbelievably claimed it was for her own protection and then finally said she could do it without the news media if it were videotaped). I don't think anyone would let Tammi talk to EJ without taping it :chicken: <-- I just like that
