As to the conflicting statements about when and where EJ met TS, I'm assuming that LE has verified when and if either or both of them were on flights that would have connected in the same place at the same time. Should be pretty easy to verify.

I WISH we had all the information LE has. This case is beyond twisty-turny already, and I'm sure we don't know the half of it.

I think this info was posted a couple pages back. The thing about it is SA would be an out of the way meeting point for this. Why not just stop in Dallas or somewhere else where both parties do less driving?

Nobody knows if it's a coincidence or not.
The fact that it is approximately the same distance from both was established a while back, as soon as Nashville was mentioned, and then again when JM was mentioned.
We're still missing some key pieces of the puzzle though.

No way TS was going to ask about the paternity documents with CC on them! She'd get a balloon boy response: "I thought we were doing it for . . ." She didn't ask her anything about the "underground help" either. Or where she got the GPS . . . or why she originally said she'd handed Gabriel over in a park. Or had her verify what airport they met in.

I don't think it's a coincidence or an unreasonable route. When my hubby and father-in-law moved all our stuff from NY to AZ they went straight down the eastern states and picked up I-10 in Fla. Straight shot all the way to AZ. Goes through San Antonio, too. My parents took the same route from NY to AZ when they visited a couple years ago. From TN you could go straight down, pick up I-10 at Mississippi and go straight to TX. Less route changes and navigating, IMO.

Oh, I KNOW!! SO confusing!!

Earlier, the report about the mysterious "Cheryl" was that she had short dark hair, but this is from the transcript of NG show yesterday..

SMITH: She said they were in their mid-30s, about -- the man was tall, not fat but kind of big. He had short, dark, really dark hair. She had long blond hair and was about her size and frame which is about 5`2" to 5`3", 110 to 125 pounds.

ETA: I remember one poster commenting that they sound like Barbie and Ken, lol....still makes me giggle.

Thanks for posting that, I was beginning to think I imagined that with everyone talking about this couple taking the carseat EJ had at the hotel.

Another thing that's been bothering me for a long time. WHY would the Smith's have been so quick to let EJ take Gabe to "see his father" on Dec. 18th, when for all points and purposes they were trying to get him to sign the adoption papers and seemed to believe that he was abusive or something similar??? It makes NO sense.

Also, it's been said that EJ had a 4.0 GPA and is intelligent. I've been having a lot of trouble understanding how she thought she could send that text to Logan claiming to have killed Gabe and think she would get away with it, whether she did just give him away or she really killed him. She CAN'T have seriously thought that nobody would look for her or look for Gabe. I'm getting a really weird feeling that EJ WANTED to get arrested, but I can't figure out WHY!!! I'm feeling that much of what's gone on in this case was orchestrated before hand and all part of the plan. In fact, the only part I feel that wasn't is that I don't think anyone involved expected the case to blow up this way.

I've had that weird feeling too. It's like EJ thinks she has gotten away with whatever it was that she set out to do and now is very relieved and doesn't seem to care if she's in jail. Here's something Tammi said about it on a NG show:

T. SMITH: You know, to be honest with you, she sounded a little bit cheery. Whenever she was dealing with the whole custody issue, she was not cheery, she was very depressed and distraught. It seems as though she seemed happier and safer being in jail than she did out of jail and going through this whole custody issue.

You know, it is also entirely possible that that little "tip" was made by Tammi and her cohorts as well.

I find it very odd that Beth referred to the baby in the post as "Baby Gabriel" . . . kind of blinking like a neon light out there on the web. I thought that was the name LE gave him, or the news media?

I believe it was Thursday night - the night NG was coddling them and yelling at Marc Klaas. And I think that was before they started appearing on the morning shows -- could be wrong though.

I don't know if I'd believe anything that came out of TS or EJ's mouths right now. TS is seeking the glare of spotlight trying to pass herself off as the only person that can 'save' this baby or provide the clues to find him. EJ is riding the Casey Anthony train and never gave a rat's spotted butt about the baby.

Lethal combo these two.
