I can think of 2 reasons why the daily presser was cancelled. Either they have nothing new to report on this case or they are too busy chasing down leads to give a presser.

I have a silly question. What is the difference between a news briefing and a press conference? The lady who I spoke to said there was "just" a news briefing that had been scheduled which makes me think that this is different than a press conference.

The only problem I have with the supposed meeting at an airport is that TPS, who seems to chronical her life on Facebook does not mention any trips in the month of June, 2009. Their are other posts from her talking about going to Mexico, etc. I still think if they met at an airport it was prearranged after first contact online. Why she would lie about this I don't know. Maybe she didn't want to seem to predatory about looking for a baby to adopt, wanted to make it seem like a complete coincidence.

I just checked and it looks like the posting about baby Gabriel started on WS on Jan. 1, 2010. It is possible that the "Beth" post is some kind of hoax since the story was in the press by the time it was posted on Jan. 4, 2010. I just would think if they people that took baby Gabriel really knew that it was an illegal adoption they wouldn't be posting on a message board. It is possible that an intermediary couple picked up the baby to pass on to an unknowing adoptive couple but not very likely. I'm not getting excited about this.

I agree-- it just seems too coincidental -it's either a hoax by an unrelated person out there, or a hoax by someone related to TS -- I mean she does have some disgruntled family members, and cousins with strong ties to Peoria, one who she dragged into this mess IDK --just hinky

They announced a couple of days ago that they would have a briefing every day at 1 pm so I don't think we should get too excited about the news saying there will be a press conference at 1 pm unless it is specifically stated it is more than a brief or there is new information.

I am praying the PC was cancelled because baby Gabriel is at a hospital getting checked out and that LE wants to present him at the PC. Yep, I am praying this is the reason.

I think someone posted that as a hoax or to divert attention as someone said earlier - the Becky Higgins is located in a suburb of Glendale, AZ, so easy for someone (hint hint) who lives or works in Glendale to know about her. But who knows, maybe the hoaxster is providing unintended clues.
