I poked around for awhile looking for the t-shirt but couldn't find anything. It looks like a woman's shirt cut to me. I guess there's not much to go on at this point.

I found a t-shirt with the same saying but the design is slightly different. They are on Zazzle website, women's sizes only.

The New Balance running shoe I've found in that colour appear to be called the 890V4 with a new sole called ABZORB which has a better crash pad for stability when the shoe was introduced in 2014. Currently, I'm seeing 890V5's and other versions but the sole doesn't look the same. Most of them in suede appear to be women's shoes.

I know there were some remains a couple of years ago, two sets, where one initially was identified as male then amended to female. Two young girls were eventually identified.

I agree they might be off here and the gender identify should be considered. Great work on the shirt and shoes info.

Appears to possibly be male, over age 40, mixed ancestry, deceased anywhere from 6 months to 3 years.

Is it possible the decedent isnt male?

I think it's a female. Most of the clothing appears to be women's clothing.

It is not certain that the shirt and shoe belonged to him. They just found a mandible and skull fragments. Shoe and shirt can be lost or thrown out by some festivalgoers and happened to end up closely to the remains.
