[h=3]Details of Disappearance[/h] Zoeller was last seen in the vicinity of north 43rd Avenue and west Flower Street in Phoenix, Arizona sometime around August in 1960. She has never been heard from again. She left behind nine children. Few details are available in her case.

It’s good to see DNA has been submitted for Grace Loretta.
When I saw she left 9 children it does bring up a few scenarios. Without any information on the thoughts at the time for her disappearance, a possible reason could obviously be having so many children by such a young age was just too much and there wasn’t the understanding of postnatal depression then. Either leaving family or suicide, or foul play, the family might have heard rumours that could help looking for her in the right direction.
Little information I could find:

Grace was born April 4 1932 in Minnesota
Grace maiden name is Hansen.
Married in 1948 to Harold Theodore Zoeller
Grace was 16 when she married, looking at the marriage photo I do wonder if she was pregnant at the time.

With so little to go on all I can think is how the inform about her was

Just was reading this and an eerily similar feeling came upon me. Arizona State Hospital is currently close to last know address - not sure if back in 1960 was at same location. I have already identified three other individuals that were targeted by either Project Bluebird/Artichoke and MK Ultra.

At this point I would recommend submitting a FOIR to C.I.A., F.B.I. and H.H.S. formerly H.E.W. If it was potentially the later, then perhaps she is buried on State Hospital Grounds.

I hadn’t thought of Asylum hospitals, whether she might have gone willingly or unwillingly. Family may have even covered something like that up at the time.
I found Harold Zoeller remarried in 1967, in California, although continued to live in Arizona I believe. He was 39 and his wife was 21.

Check admissions record for Arizona State Hospital around date and time of disappearance. That facility confirmed as site for MK Ultra experiments. Also closeness to Nuclear Facilities and research would suggest radiation experiments as in Harrisburg, PA. Unfortunately information released so far is vague and most still classified even after 50 years.

He could have been potential recruit for project bluebird and project MK Ultra. reading the story reminded me of another similar disappearance in PA.

Bobby Davidson was even closer to Arizona State Hospital then Zoeller. Unfortunately the govt used vast means to get some of these individuals into hospitals. Some were admitted into these hospitals and were not psychiatric patients.

F.O.I.R. are best path, but they will try and convince all that no records exist.

Too many people during this time frame with last known whereabouts, then nothing. It is like reports were tampered or removed from police agencies/or facilities - that is what happened in John Chocha case!

Hope this helps. We are asking for H.H.S to release files on these projects from 50/60's but it isn't easy. These agencies don't like working together let alone sharing anything that potentially will make current administration look bad!

Hi Paven , well looking into missing on webslueths the last thing I thought I would be doing was going into such deep rabbit holes! It’s quite a coincidence that the missing I was researching was another Az case. Not in the US , so old records are very hard to find for me. Will keep trying. Keep up the good work

Probability shows that Zoeller was buried in unregistered, unknown grave on the closest military base. Recommend requesting FOIR with C.I.A. and F.B.I. Don't give up after the initial denial or that they destroyed files. Appeal all rulings and keep asking. Also start calling members of Congress in Arizona demanding her files be released.
