Phoenix Mother of 6 Disappears After Chilling Call for Help

Police said Lara bought a forged ID and social security card to get jobs. According to court documents, Lara also admitted to working for the Sinaloa cartel, selling illegal pills in Arizona. Info from his phone showed that he was headed to Mexico before returning to Phoenix before the arrest, FOX 10 News reported.

According to family members, Luevano and her boyfriend lived together, a report said.

Victoria Luevano said the last time she spoke to her sister was on Saturday. She said her sister had not gone out in a while and was excited for the evening ahead, the news outlet reported.

”She was getting ready. She was happy because she was going to go out to this little bar," Victoria said.

The car was located in the West Valley near 107th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road. Blood was found inside the Impala, but Luevano is still missing.

Court documents show he was driving to Mexico before returning to Phoenix, KPNX reported. He was treated at a hospital for apparent self-inflicted stab wounds. Luevano’s family, including her six children, are trying to stay strong but are losing hope, Mercado told KSAZ. “They’re like, ‘Why my mom? I don’t wanna lose my mom. Why does she have to leave?’” she said.

According to court documents, Lara's cell phone info showed he was headed to Mexico before turning around, and returning to Phoenix.

So what are the chances she was dropped/dumped while on his way to Mexico and before turning back to AZ? They need to search the last area his cell pinged and go from there. IMO

Friend of family finds car of missing Phoenix mother Irene Luevano

Family members and police confirmed it was discovered at the Filiberto's parking lot at 107th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road on Tuesday. The car, a 2007 Chevy Impala, had a little damage on the front driver's side and had the license plate belonging to Irene Luevano.

Dozens of family members and friends continued their search Wednesday for the missing mother. They focused on an area off 107th Avenue where they said Luevano would go off-roading. It’s also close to where the car Irene was last seen in was found.

They have a ground crew that is going to search the Gila Bend area.

The group focused their search efforts south of 107th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road, where police found the missing woman’s car parked at a Filiberto’s on Tuesday.

Video of the car filmed when it was being towed away by police, showed it had dirt on the outside. The family is using that as a clue to search remote areas.

“We have faith that she is good and hopefully she comes home,” said Irene’s second-oldest daughter, who did not want to be identified. “She was a great mother to all her kids, and we all need her.”

Along with their day-long search on Wednesday, the family saw detectives on ATVs also searching, Victoria Luevano said.

“I was surprised that they are out here, coming out helping us look for my sister as well,” she said.

At 4 a.m., Irene called her family to tell them her boyfriend had stabbed her in the neck. The family called the police following Irene's call.

At 9:58 a.m., Irene’s second-oldest daughter said she spoke with Quintero Lara. After asking him where her mother was, she said he replied, “I’m taking her to the hospital.”

At 10:45 a.m., an exclusive video obtained by 12 News showed Irene’s missing car, a Gray 2007 Chevy Impala, pull up to Filiberto’s on 107th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.

At 6:15 p.m., Phoenix police put out a missing adult alert for Irene.

At 6:45 p.m., Quintero Lara was located at a Phoenix hospital, with what appeared to be self-inflicted stab wounds.

Thank you. Now i'm curious as to what hospital he took himself to. Just wondering if its anywhere near where the car was located. The bar closed at 2am and she called regarding the stabbing at 4am. I'm trying to wrap my head around this timeline and locations. IMO
