If someone was watching the house, casing the house, looking for the best way to do this, they could turn the camera.

They would be on the camera before turning it upward AND they'd have to carry around a tall ladder. That would get noticed.

Is the cousin/Uncle around?

Not if they approach the house from a completely different angle. But the act of it being turned up would be caught.

Was there not a ladder that one of our posters noticed in one of the videos? A ladder lying on one side of the house?

Yep........

Camera means nothing unless it is hooked up to a video recorder. Digital, computer, etc. DID the CELIS family have that capability?

Yes, for all we know, it isn't even connected. It sure would be nice to find out!

It's possible that the cameras came with the house and they never used them. JMO.

Will an HRD dog alert on ONLY the odor of a dead human being? I mean, could they have been misled if a family pet had died in the home?

We went through pages and pages of this discussion on the Baby Lisa Irwin forum. It was verified that the cadaver dogs hit in the parents bedroom on the floor.

So we had quite a bit of discussion, including with our resident Search and Rescue members, about WHAT that means exactly.

When the SEARCH function is up and running you can probably find it. But IIRC, it boils down to a few possibilities.

Dead animals will NOT trigger a human cadaver dog. However, it can be triggered by a human that died years ago, if it is an older home. OR, it MIGHT be triggered by diapers.[ some authorities say yes, some say no] YEP DIAPERS. So that can call a lot of these things into question, imo. So I am on the fence.

I am missing something. There is a camera on the house, and it's pointing up. Why does that suggest a family member's involvement?

NG covering the story.

I seriously doubt a pedo handyman would be carrying around a ladder and go up to the roof. No way.
What if he was the cable guy, on the job. Saw the beautiful little girl, saw the camera and on a whim turned the camera and then set his plan into motion.

Is the producer Selin Darkalstanian? Not sure.

  • #553
I'm curious why you say that. Couldn't it have been someone else up on the roof? Or the system was broken and they never got around to fixing the camera? Just wondering.

The producer did also say their home looked to be the most secure in the neighborhood. So I don't know. I"m as uncertain about who took Isa as I was when I first heard the story. There just hasn't been anything that has an "uh oh" factor.

The cops have been asking for videos from anyone in the area including videos taken at the ballpark. They never once mentioned that a camera was right there on the Celis home. It took someone from JVM's team to notice it and report it. If there was an innocent explanation as to why that camera was pointing to the sky or non-functional, IMO, LE would have mentioned something or the family would have.

What did they find inside the home? What was wrapped in that towel?

If they had a camera hooked up, and it was inexplicably turned skyward, wouldnt they have reported that to LE, and we would have heard about it?

I am thinking it was not hooked up.

Why would anyone install a camera and then aim to the sky? Makes absolutely no sense.

Someone moved it, imo and I seriously doubt a pedophile would take a ladder and move the camera.

Did the Celis family install the camera? How is the camera recorded?

Awww. Our news just showed the parents right after their Today show, taking off their mics, Becky bent over in the chair and put her head in her hands & Sergio just looked distraught and mumbling slightly shaking his head. They appear to be so distraught & relieved the interview was over.

I don't think it was hooked up to anything and thus no recording. I don't even know who put the camera up there. Could have come with the house, for all I know. Much ado about NOTHING. IMO

Well that should go over big with NBC with HLN indicating they didn't ask hard questions like HLN asks the questions.

BBM - LE really hasn't said ANYTHING about this case.
