like 12 miles...BUT...AFNI has a location that is 2 miles from Isa's. Does anyone that is local know if the AFNI location at 5451 East Williams Boulevard, Tucson, AZ is a call center?
My map brought me to E. escalante when I looked up AFNI

I googled it earlier and I think it said it was, but I am not local so I have no idea.

If so, that's pretty close to home. :waitasec:

I'm a local - don't know if it's a call center but the Williams Center is fairly close to (i.e., within a mile of) the Celis neighborhood.

Strange....I get the first two the same but the third says 5320 N La Cholla instead of 5451 E
Williams.

Edit to add- their website lists 4 locations in Tuscon.

But this isnt the same uncle that people were wondering about. The 'hinky' uncle is named Justin and was in the early interviews. And might not be a bio uncle at all.

Understood that the hinky "uncle" (aka cousin) is JM. My point was that maybe this uncle (LR) just didn't want anyone thinking he is the guy that LE's investigating. Remember, it's only being reported that they're looking at "an uncle" but haven't named his name yet. So maybe her real uncles are feeling defensive.

Community reacts to Celis interview; they want more

<snip>
The community will get another chance to hear more about Isabel Celis' story. Becky and Sergio Celis have scheduled an interview Friday with all of the local news stations.

(snip)One thing that keeps coming back to me as significant is the fact that this happened on a Friday night. Presumably, both parents work, and if the dad worked all day Friday, then coached or attended a Little League game, at the end of a long week of school and work -- I'd think everyone was beyond exhausted - and knowing Isa had a game the next day early. I don't know what to make of it, except that if either of the parents did it, they sure picked a hideous time, and each would have known the gig would be up very early.

You bring up a most excellent point! Other cases we have seen, the time frames were much looser in terms of "verifiable sitings" of the children around the time of disappearance. Obviously Caylee, but think about Sky Metalwala up in Seattle where no one could verify having seen the boy for weeks prior to his mother claiming abduction. Also Ayla Reynolds...and I am sure you all can think of more. Why on earth would they have her seen at a game by the community, then be expected the following morning at a game....It would give them no time at all to disappear her, and the walls would tighten around them instantly. Really good point you made...not the most ideal time to plan and execute a crime.

This is assuming someone actually planned to harm Isabel (from within the family, I mean.) If someone close to her harmed her, I am not feeling that it was planned...something happened, something went wrong, etc...more like that. I can't imagine any reason a family member would have to plan to do her harm, but things go badly sometimes.

Still, I do not feel her parents are involved...just that it is someone they know. And that is JMO only, and maybe a hope, too, as more chance of being found out.

There IS an AFNI on Williams Blvd, I have no idea what they do but there is a building there...Williams Blvd is just across Craycroft from the Celis residence. What's up with AFNI?

The Escalante address is quite a bit further south and east of Celis place. And La Cholla is the other side of the city...

So there is a person on FB that claims to be JM's best friend who works there that has a couple of hinky posts. Just a wild shot trying to piece stuff together.

Wow, it's been a big day for Isabel's case-- I'm so glad the parents came out with an interview. I happen to approve of their hanging back and not getting caught up in the media bidding wars, it's refreshing to hear from educated people who aren't enamored with the prospects of limos and royalty checks. :sigh:

I only have a couple of things to add to today's discussions, the first is regarding the camera on the roof. When I heard it was not in working order and was pointed toward the sky, I immediately envisioned this happening when the exterior of the home was last painted. Very simply angled out of the way, and not moved back because it wasn't working anyway. jmo on that

The other point was to underscore the importance of learning there were dogs both inside and outside of the home the night Isabel was taken! Imo, that's a strong indication the perp is known to the family, their pets, and was comfortably knowledgeable with the total environment he was breaching-- neighborhood included.

What scares me, though, is if the perp is known to the family then he's probably been around... which doesn't necessarily bode well for Isa.
I can only hope the (correct) surveillance tapes provide some useful footage and good leads. :prayer:

I'll be back tomorrow-- hopefully it will be the day Isa returns to the arms of her family. :offtobed:

About the dogs-it was said they were both inside and out...did they say some were inside and some outside, or that they had been out sometimes and in other times? Just wondering if the dogs were split, some outdoor dogs, some not.

Can't imagine a stranger taking a chance on a house with an outdoor dog...same reason I feel iffy about Baby Lisa. Anyway, don't want to start the debate on dogs, and what they will or won't do, it is JMO.

Oh gotcha. That must suck for all of the male cousins or uncles to have that rumor out there.

They would be on the camera before turning it upward AND they'd have to carry around a tall ladder. That would get noticed.

Not if they came up on the other side of the parapet.

Also, cameras mounted like this one appears to be mounted *can* be moved by high winds (which we do get here) or a football/other toy lobbed onto the roof during play...

No matter the case, if it wasn't recording in the house it is/was useless anyway.

I've already turned the AFNI and APAC connections into LE. Both are call centers. The EEs chnge companies in these centers like you wouldn't believe. Someone's FB that says AFNI could well be at APAC or CCI or Citibank a month later.
