I think a break in the case will happen today or this weekend!! No, I'm not a psychic. lol

We can only hope. Otherwise it appears we will end up Chit chatting about religion until the next presser or press release!

Of course, joking aside, let's hope for Isa's sake that you ARE psychic, and a break is approaching!

Speaking of pressers, what was the final word on that? Will there be one today or are they going to releases only?

OK thank you. I still find it creepy to put childrens pictures on a dating site.

I was gonna say the same thing.
I wonder if he had her parents permission.
It also exposes her to strangers and she is a very pretty little girl.
No way.
I think it's just wrong. :(

I waffle on it. It's not uncommon on match, from what I can tell. I've been using the site for about six months, and some people blur out faces of others in their pictures while others just upload pictures as you are. Match encourages members to post pictures of themselves with their family, friends, doing activities, etc. so you can get a better idea of what someone is like.

I think some guys post pictures of themselves with others, which may include nieces/nephews, because it's a good pic. Some have pictures like that to show that their family is important to them or that they enjoy kids. Generally, based on what else that have written in their profile, you can get a feel if its malarkey. A few really great guys that I'm seeing have had pictures up, and you can tell that their nieces/nephews are a big part of their life, so it makes sense. Others, you can tell after a few email exchanges, are just trying to reel women in by listing certain things.

I think that as long as the parents of the children know and are okay with the photo being used, it's fine. But I really waffle on it.

I am happy to see the parents doing media interviews. I caught a bit of the Today Show interview on NG last night and I don't see anything hinky about them.

Also on NG I saw the size of that wall around the house and I have to say that it would be hard for a perp to watch her through her window. Add that with the proximity of the wall to the neighbor's house, I just can't see anyone being a peeping tom prior to the abduction. And if it were a stranger, how the heck would they know which window was Isa's, especially if she usually slept with her brother? And I think this is why LE is focussing on this family.

The perp must be known to the family and an individual who is close to that family. The perp must have known that Isa was in that room that night. And what I really want to know is if that supposed uncle was in fact there the whole night.

And where is this uncle now? Where is he staying?

Is this the "uncle" that we figured out wasn't an uncle after all but a "step cousin".
If so, i wanna know too. Where is he staying now? Why did he have to move out? He was living w/ them right?
Let me just say again.....i do NOT suspect the parents at all. I have my opinions about other family members though. :( Omg....those poor parents and brothers. May God be w/ them. I have a feeling they will need it.

If LE and parents are scoping out Uncle (if they are that is) Is the uncle still around? If not maybe LE is looking for him as he sure looks like he has knowledge of a lot of places that he could go. Maybe LE and family are worried but don't feel the uncle/cousin would kill isa, sorry i write kill because if he did take her chances are he has hurt her but she may be alive. LE may not ask public for help as it might send him deeper into hiding and LE may have places they are checking. JMO

Or we have an Uncle/cousin that is just close to his niece and this speculation of him is killing him. JMO

Or this is truly a stranger abduction.:(
Or.....

JVM said some were inside and some outside. They showed one dog at the door. It looked like a German Shepherd to me but others can correct me if I'm wrong. As far as I know that's never been confirmed by LE. However, the neighbour said the dogs were outside and she would see the Celis family members bringing them food. I have no idea how many dogs they own.

The dogs not barking wouldn't really raise suspicion for me because we've seen cases where the dogs didn't bark and it was a stranger abduction but add the alleged broken camera and my hinky meter is sky high.

It leaves me to suspect someone who knew this family. Someone who had been there before. Someone who would have known the surveillance camera was non functional.

Some perps are brazen and do enter the home through open windows or unlocked doors but to go with the theory that this perp took that risk with dogs outside and/or inside with a surveillance camera on the roof just doesn't jive for me.

The ladder bothers me a lot also. To think this perp was so lucky to have a ladder right there, alleged open window, dogs inside and/or outside, an alleged non functional surveillance camera pointing up to the sky......wow. Like I said last night, this was his lucky day.

The ladder doesnt bother me because a ladder wouldnt be needed to take the screen off of the window and gain entrance. The bottom of Isa's window sits about 2-2.5 feet above the ground.

If it's permitted, can someone PLEASE advise where one can see these "side by side" photos/sketch? Several people have asked and so far no one has answered. I too would like to see these photos/pictures.

I am pretty sure we can't put up the "friend of uncle/cousin" picture, as he is not named in the case.

If you go to JMs FB page, and look at his friends, there is one with the initials ML, and you can see his pic there.

Then grab any of the news articles about the nighttime assault of the three girls, and the sketch should be there.

There is a definite resemblance, IMO, fwiw.

Hope this helps. :)

I don't suspect the parents either. They have not lawyered up, and one could tell if they did or didn't by the individual meetings with detectives in their home the other day. They don't raise my suspicion but I do think they may know who is responsible and that is maybe why they were quiet for a short term.

Does the uncle/stepcousin have a car? That's another question I would like to know. If he doesn't, and he was staying there that night, then I have to second-guess a bit. If he does, was his car searched?

Thank you. BTW, I wasn't asking anyone to post anything that wasn't allowed or do anything against the TOS. Appreciate the responses.

Wearing rosary beads is cultural, it's not necessarily wrong. Yes, you don't wear them if you're praying them, but to carry them around the neck isn't wrong.

When Catholics are lapsed or not especially devout (as RC said on her FB before this happened), we still retain many outward signs even if we don't fully believe or practice. I still have blessed palms, holy water, blessed rosaries, icons, statues, etc, even though I'm lapsed. I still wear a crucifix on occasion as well.

Sacramentals (physical items used to help pray, etc) are a help. Like memorized prayers, they can help as something to fall back on when faith is lagging. :twocents:

When I was growing up, we were taught that wearing the rosary beads around your neck was very wrong and never to do that. Of course this was a long time ago. Now I am told that this is a fashion thing but it still gives me a creepy feeling to see them worn around the neck.

About the dogs-it was said they were both inside and out...did they say some were inside and some outside, or that they had been out sometimes and in other times? Just wondering if the dogs were split, some outdoor dogs, some not.

Can't imagine a stranger taking a chance on a house with an outdoor dog...same reason I feel iffy about Baby Lisa. Anyway, don't want to start the debate on dogs, and what they will or won't do, it is JMO.

I'm behind as usual, but want to add this point about the dogs. Many home invasions have been accomplished by the intruder tossing a piece of raw meat to the dog. This distracts the dog, and it pays no attention to some stranger breaking into a house. What dog can resist a big, juicy steak? Not many dogs will bark while they're in the middle of a midnight snack.

It is my opinion that the two cases are not connected. I see no connection to the uncle/cousin either at this time.

It reminds me somewhat when Jessica went missing and the media hinted Archie Lunsford (Jessica's grandfather) was the perp or Ruthie Lunsford but of course Mark was tossed into the mix too just like it is happening in this case. Iirc, that also included Nancy Grace's show. The police even lied to the family and said they found blood on Archie's shirt. It turned out that he didnt have a thing to do with Jessica's death but it sure kept the internet in a frenzy night and day.

But lets say for theory sake......the cousin/uncle took Isa..is it reasonable to believe a friend of his would go 10 miles away and invade a home when three little girls were there who could identify him? Imo the truth is we could find numerous people that we think looks exactly like the sketch put out. Sometimes we see what we are hoping to find and that is just how the brain works.

I think whoever invaded the other home was another perv not in anyway connected to Isa's case who does not keep up with the news and didnt have a clue about Isa or that she is even missing. While we here read news constantly and watch news channels there is a whole hellavu lot of people that dont. I call them a part of the 'dumbed down society.'

So the talk shows have been wrong on their bombshell news before and have led the public far afield. If we had believed Nancy Grace at the time or JVM either.. Ed Smart or Richard Ricci or Elizabeth's Uncle... would be in prison by now instead of the real perp.

Until a legitimate source (LE) tells me the cousin/uncle is involved I will not assume guilt. It isnt uncommon for Uncles/Aunts to have close relationships with their extended family.

What he said the first time he spoke out raised no red flags for me.

Now if it does turnout to be someone the family and Isa trusted that will be earth shattering to the Celis family and will bring them to their knees where I am not sure they will be strong enough to overome such betrayal.

JMO

I think that is a very valid point. Unfortunately we have seen home invasions on the rise also burglars have been known to go into a home at night with the family and dogs there and the owners/renters werent even aware they had a stranger inside of their home.

That is why they are called cat burglars because they can move around a home in the dead of night and are quiet as a cat. They know how to deal with the pets inside of a home.

Wasnt it disclosed during the main murder trial of the Petit family that he would invade people's homes at night and sit there next to the bed and watch them sleep? That is enough to scare anyone law abiding citizen to death.

Even criminals craft their skills and they are getting smarter........even LE admits that.

Personally, I've never seen a Catholic person wearing rosary beads around their neck like it was a piece of jewelry. The first time I saw this was when Casey Anthony wore it and my reaction what? Is that a new fashion thing?

Yes gold chains with a crucifix and so on but rosary beads? Never until CA and this case.

(BTW - I'm not saying it's wrong or right or whether I consider a person guilty or not).

Around here many from Mexico wear wooden rosary beads....i've also known of some several generations out who wear them. No big deal here

For me when there are too many coincidences, then I consider it not a coincidence.

I see that starting to happen in this case and it makes me very uneasy.

I was all for the coincidences being coincidences. But since finding the posssible link I am on the fence. I just hope LE figures this out soon - wherever it leads.

I'm sure this has already been talked about, but this morning I saw the thread for Jhessye Shockley and the one for Isabel were listed next to each other and both are from AZ and six months apart. When I did a google map search, the towns are only 126 miles straight on I-10 apart - about 2.25 driving hours.

Is there any possibility of a link to each other?

I am trying but cannot recall a case where a little girl about Isabel's age was taken and eventually found alive...? The ones I have come across, they are usually killed quickly and found locally, not even well-hidden in some cases.

I don't like to compare cases as I think they are all different, but was more thinking about outcomes, if there are any 5-7 year-old girls who were eventually found alive.

Shasta Groene was recovered. I think she was 7. So was another little girl last year (can not think of her name, but it started with A and she was just 4, IIRC). And if you really mean "EVENTUALLY" there is Jaycee Duggard. As for boys, Shawn Hornbeck and Steven Staynor come to mind. All were abducted around this age and recovered years later.

I looked this up this morning, just heard about it today too. I believe police think the mother is responsible, and are looking for evidence to prove that. Everything I see from them focuses on the mother, not a kidnapper.
