btw, I just spent 30 minutes trying to make that little <modsnip> google man walk down the alley so I could look for the camera, but he will not cooperate!!:maddening: Can anyone else do it?

I suck at geography and maps.

I have found that googleman usually won't go down alleys :maddening:

Ha, I just tried too. I was looking through google earth to see past images, couldn't see anything.

Looks to me like they could have picked up activity to the left (as you face the home) of the Celis' house, possibly including a small portion of the structure. They are at 5608, which is NOT the end of the group of businesses in the strip mall...

I've posted this before. Even a two story home wouldn't prevent a camera on a mast from getting a clear image of their home. They are in the business of surveillance. They know how to mount cameras and the types of cameras best suited for various scenarios. I suspect they had a clear shot of the general area for demonstration purposes.

Every time I try to walk around to the back of the house, it tells me I am on East Cooper, and the back of the house is NOT theirs. The house I see from the back hasn't got a large window where Isa's should be, but when I walk around to the front, I see the front of Celis' house. I think the answer is "You can't get there from here."

<OT: the worst thing about purebred GRs is the high incidence of cancer in the lines... 50% - 65% of them die from cancer. Mine did. Too heartbreaking. :frown:>

Madeleine, my amazingly awesome GSD died from cancer, she was only 6. :anguish:

Actually, when interviewed on camera, the owner indicated he had installed that camera because his empolyees park in the rear of the building. So it probably WASN'T up on a mast or pointed/focussed to provide a clear image of the Celis' home, but rather was mounted on the building's eaves and pointed downward by about 45 degrees to cover the lot. It could be adequate for purposes of determining what TIME Isabel was removed from the house (in terms of seeing movement) but might not be sufficient for identification. Maybe enough to gauge whether the individual is tall or short, male or female, but that's the best we can hope for. He DID say he saw (on his recording) Sergio and Justin walking around at 8ish, searching for her, but LE immediately stopped the playback and siezed the tape/media.
