The local buzz is that they have not been a couple for a while but I have not seen any court documents that prove a legal split.

Does this "buzz" get into specifics? Some couples may not be "together" but they still live together for the children.

Why would the coaches and colleagues and friends lie to the meda?

While I did get a sort of an impression of distance on FB, I think they were still trying to hold up an appearance of being together before Isa went missing, going to the games and such.

I prefer something a little more hardcore to satisfy my need to watch crimninals perform their trade, that is why I am always glued to CSPAN.

My first good LOL all day, thank you!

Has anyone local (or otherwise) heard that KVOA.com will live-stream today's presser? IINM, they're the station that doesn't make the clickable link to the live stream until the presser starts (idjits).

And I don't want to view it at tuscannews...

If what is going around is true there is going to be a collective jaw dropping here and everywhere else. Cant wait till 3. We will see what happens.

I probably won't be home to see it, so can I ask someone to text me? Or maybe I can shuffle my schedule... Arggggh!

I have your email I can do that much if it turns out to be as interesting as we think it may be.

I am about to do something I've been annoyed by in the past...can someone give me a summary of what is going on? I heard on the local news this morning that Sergio is restricted from any contact with the boys (!) and that he and RC have separated. I just heard Becky referred to as his "EX wife"(!) and there is a presser at 2 p.m. When did they divorce or was that a mis-report? Any statements from Sergio regarding CPS? P.s. I've missed you all, it's been a very busy past couple of weeks at the Richman home!:seeya:

Still...setting boundaries sounds controlling. Under normal circumstances, it is the right thing for a parent to set boundaries but under tragic circumstances such as a sister disappearing in the middle of the night, snatched from her bed....

Like I said earlier....we're talking about kids with feelings not robots. I would think the first step would be to get them some sort of counselling. Yes, school is important but how can they concentrate on school work when their little sister is gone without a trace? Sorry but that's just not right. IMO

I tend to disagree, but I guess that depends on what 'setting boundaries' means. This could possibly refer to how things get out of whack when a crisis takes place. Parents may tend to baby their children by letting them stay up too late and sleep too late, do more of what they want in general, e.g., video games, not set as many boundaries with relatives, give them sweets and candy more and so on. Sometimes kids feel more secure with consistent boundaries even if it's not what they particularly want at the time. The kids might want to go back to school ... who cares if they do their school work well. I wouldn't see this as forcing normalcy on them, but normalcy is important when kids are in a crisis.

I'm afraid this presser may consist of generalizations that won't amount to much.

As far as wondering where "Sergio is depressed" is coming from, this is from SPECULATION about the no-contact order against Sergio. Nobody stated it was a fact, just posters wondering what it means.

Also I thought locals could post rumors as long as they stated it was a rumor, which Paximus did.

Sergio denied contact, cant see or talk to boys. CPS involved. We dont know why.

No confirmation that she is ex wife but it is being reported as such by some media and a local buzz seems to possibly indicate such.

Presser at 3pm Tucson time.

That is all we KNOW for sure at this point.

Here is something interesting from the sc rc interview...

(Reporter: Is there a deep feeling you must have about where she is now?)

Rebecca: No, it just scares me. We don't know where she is, she don't know if they're feeding her. I hope she is not in a lot of danger.

Sergio: That she is at least well.

Why on earth would you make the statement that you think "That she is at least well" unless you know the circumstances.

I think this might be a presser about why the children are with Becky, in hopes to "smoke" out Sergio.

I don't know or even think Sergio is involved, but I DO THINK that CPS has the right reasons for protecting the other children.

Did any press come out about the FBI and the behavior analysts they brought in?

John Q, I took his comment to be an additional wish or hope for Isa, tacked onto Beck's comment of "I hope she is not in a lot of danger."

Between observations made by Paximus and others...I am still leaning in the direction that SC got involved in some shady business...probably for $$. You don't have to look like a user or be a user to be involved in that world...IC is either collateral or debt payoff. The CPS puzzle piece seems to fit in that kind of scenario....at least for me and my opinion....

It struck me as a little off too, like, we were cutting them some slack for all of a couple of weeks because they were upset but now it's time get over it already. But he doesn't say that good grades are expected... It is possible imo that the children do not particularly enjoy being holed up in some hotel room or a relative's house or wherever they've lived and that they would prefer to go back to school and their hobbies, see their friends regularly again and get something else to think about besides Isabel's disappearance. I don't think that it's necessarily good for the children in times of crisis to cut them off from school and their other familiar routines indefinitely.

If they are getting counseling, we might not know about it.

My kids are out of school in less than 2 weeks. If I was in this situation,I'd probably keep them out the rest if the year.

I haven't seen anything from the FBI. What do you think CPS's reasons are? I have heard ZERO scuttlebutt about this case for over a week and haven't been able to read through the threads thoroughly.
