I am not getting where this is coming from personally. She had a very recent video on her phone of Isa at home. She had pictures of Isa at home on FB.
Why would it be RC not living there? Why not Sergio?
Why would a pediatric nurse not live with the children she is proud of on FB?
Why would they both lie about such a thing when their daughter is missing?
It would not matter if they were living separately when Isa went missing, if they had nothing to do with it, so why add that lie?

Anyone?

Maybe RC needed a break from everything: SC, the kids, the house, the animals.

I've known women who walk away b/c they are at the end of their rope with day to day life. I've also known women who leave b/c they are being abused but the husbands don't mistreat the kids.

IMO, the presser will confirm by LE what has already been stated by MSM- that Sergio and Rebecca have split and that CPS has given custody of the two boys to RC and SC can have no contact.

Between observations made by Paximus and others...I am still leaning in the direction that SC got involved in some shady business...probably for $$. You don't have to look like a user or be a user to be involved in that world...IC is either collateral or debt payoff. The CPS puzzle piece seems to fit in that kind of scenario....at least for me and my opinion....

I NEVER think things like this, but my first thought was that she may have been given to someone. It makes no sense. She is obviously a happy, well-loved little girl. That is not actually what I think happened but with your scenario it could be possible.

The local buzz is that they have not been a couple for a while but I have not seen any court documents that prove a legal split.

Local buzz as in someone who knows someone who lives down the street? Jerry Bob's morning coffee buzz? Or as in you're privy to more info within the legal community? I'm not doubting what you say, simply that I'm a local and I've heard a lot of gossip and rumors but nothing I would put any faith in...perhaps I need to get out more

I haven't seen anything from the FBI. What do you think CPS's reasons are? I have heard ZERO scuttlebutt about this case for over a week and haven't been able to read through the threads thoroughly.

I brisk through these threads, so I am not as in tune as others are, but I am willing to put my chips on there is a back story (dynamic) within the family that we were all unaware of (hence is the story with many other cases.)

Removing the children from the custody, even partial custody, of another parent isn't something done lightly. I would assume it is due to abuse of some sort; brainwashing, verbal abuse, mental abuse, etc.

It could also be because Sergio isn't well himself, but ALL OF THE ABOVE is speculation.

I am sure this is what they are going to address today, but releasing the reasons why they will not.

Which is why I still have my FBI question. I wonder if they are done, are still working, and what is going on with all of that?

Jane Velez-Mitchell just teased her 7:00PM (Eastern) show this evening saying that "this case is about to break wide open". She will be gathering new details between now and then. Nancy Grace will also be covering the latest in the Celis case, but her show won't have the latest info because it was taped earlier.

I haven't heard mention of CNN or HLN carrying the presser live but will let you know if I hear anything before it begins.

I think LE said today that this CPS action is not to be intended as them casting suspicion on anyone in particular so I am sticking by my original belief that Sergio is likely not handling the stress well and could be having trouble dealing with his emotions and therefore acting out towards the boys in such a way that CPS became concerned and needed to get him away so he could clear his head and deal with his problems.

My kids are out of school in less than 2 weeks. If I was in this situation,I'd probably keep them out the rest if the year.

I think I might have mine return to school for a while, on the understanding that getting good grades is not a priority, it's just to establish some routine and a sense of normalcy again. They have a good support system at their school which can help children in crisis (the ones who are not emotionally too fragile anyway).

It could be a practical matter, didn't they say that they'd have to get back to work soon for financial reasons?

I entertained the possibly that this could be about debt in another post yesterday and how the two voices the neighbor heard could be related to that. As I indicated nefarious people who loan money and collect that money dont usually come in during the middle of the night and take things, they show up in broad daylight and take whatever they want right in front of you, that could explain the voices at 630 am that were heard I suppose.

Aye, carp. I just watched a video in the past 4 pages (I think) of Isa's mother speaking yesterday about Isa and Mothers Day.

IMO, that is a really revealing video from Mom's side because she talks about the boys being "ripped apart. they just want to be a family again."

Speculation here on my part, but I am willing to bet a bag of pistachios that there has been or had been mentally/verbally abusive (or something similar along those lines) within the family.

The comment "the boys are being ripped apart" is what threw that flag for me.

I see Becky coming forward for the cameras now in an opportunity of strength, to speak for and by herself.
Keeping the information about whom had custody of the children was a noble gesture cause she could have taken that lower denominator and be very blunt, but she refrained. There's a message in that alone.

It sounds like the boys may be very upset because they cant see their father now. They have lost their sister and now they have lost their father.
