I thought people were saying he was lying and setting up a story when he called 911? If he was setting this stroy up why wouldnt he make sure when Becky woke up that he was in the bed with her?

How do we know that he doesnt do this quite frequently or that Becky saw him laying there on the couch asleep before she went to work?

I dont see anything sinister about an adult falling asleep on the couch. I have done it several times myself in the past.

IMO

For what its worth!

Why was she in her own room when she usually would sleep in with her brothers?????
This could be one reason RC didnt check her daughter because she thought she was in with her siblings.

Would LE have daily PC's (now twice a week) if a drug cartel was involved and a little girl's life was in danger or would they keep everything under cover?

Sorry, I'm not buying the drug cartel or gangster theory.

This case is like the thousands of other cases we've followed here. If it's not a custody/parental abduction, sadly, it's a sex crime or child abuse.

As far as I know there is no confirmation that she normally slept in her brothers room. It was reported by Nancy Grace that there was a "report" that she normally did sleep in her brothers room. It grew legs but I don't take it for a fact.

It sounded like SC was setting up his story for not being in bed with RC that night. "As a matter of fact, I fell asleep watching the whatever team on the television, chuckle chuckle... " Sounded like George Anthony. Ick.

I think they held off releasing the 911 calls because once we heard them, we'd all know SC was guilty and he might get scared into lawyering up.

I am really shocked! SC's time for :calm, small- talk and jokes- in that 911 call is beyond strange in contrast to Isabel's panic stricken brother and "hysterical - mom" ) ? ummmm really did he really call her hysterical ??? wth?

Also, did you notice how he kept the convo going on the call...while RC and the older boy couldn't focus or wait to get off the call to meet officers? I wonder what professional criminal profilers and statement analysis ppl say about that.

And if your kid was missing and your spouse came home...how would you greet them?? would you say..."ohh they're home-freaking out" and keep talking on the phone...or would you run to them?

:what:

I have not listen to it, my children are still home. I read some and have read comments. He does seem weird. I wonder if he was trying to not think the worse, and possible she is just down the road somewhere with friends. So much to catch up.

This may just be me, but this is starting to seem a little bit biased, talking about drug cartels, etc...would the same sort of thing be said if this family was not of Mexican descent? Is there any real reason, otherwise, to think this is even a likely scenario?

I think it is probably less to do with their ancestry and more to do with proximity, hinky familial ties, legal troubles gone poof, and just the downright sketchiness of the whole fam damnily.

I initially raised an eyebrow at any broader scope (drugs, guns, etc), but admittedly could not make the pieces fit into my "pervy daddy" scenario.

So far, this fits quite well. JMO

I was hoping you all would get to it overnight lol. I was too tired to stay up. I have to say I had gun smuggling in one of my theories and I am glad I was not alone. To many weird things in this case, it just doesn't seem typical to me at all.

He has an old model jeep. The boats belong to family in FL. He is a student.

Student of what? ;)

THIS IS IMPORTANT to note, an LEO was killed by FF guns, and now we have some names matching up, holy coincidences batman!

Yeah, I went to high school with an Alex Rodriguez that played baseball. Some names are far more common than others. Even ones that aren't don't necessarily have ties to each other. My husbands last name is not common at all, yet he went to high school and graduated with twins of the same last name with no connection. I really wouldn't put much stock into the potential family tree that's trying to grow with the FF connection. (eta - at least based on name alone)

Between you and Pax, he has a solid 2 copies sold.

Nah, PAX got a free advance copy for being president of the Jose Baez Fan Club, SW Chapter. So just the one copy sold, lol.

Do we know for a fact that there are connections? I know that there are tons of people with my last name that are in no way related to me.........
I think that we are running with "facts" that are not facts at all.....JMO

Just to clarify a bit - Fast and Furious isn't actually a gang. It was a US ATF sting operation under Project Gunrunner aimed at stopping the flow of guns into Mexico.

ATF gunwalking scandal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

(first post, dipping my toe in the water, hoping I can keep up with all you good swimmers)

actually, it was aimed at stopping our 2nd amendment right.

The thought was, if the Americans saw what was happening in Mexico, with easy guns and violence, it would make Americans easy targets to give up their 2nd Amendment rights.

Well, that's what the plan was.

It was a failed Project that took the lives of 2 American LE, with the exact guns we let them have easy access too.

"DailyCaller.com reports: "Emails from inside the Department of Justice appear to indicate Obama administration officials were plotting to use the consequences of Operation Fast and Furious to further a gun-control agenda. Sharyl Attkisson of CBS News reported Wednesday that the emails show agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discussing how they would use Fast and Furious to 'argue for controversial new rules about gun sales.'"

But why take her? why not take Sargeo himself? What are they going to do with a little girl? What does Sargeo have that they want?

Well, two of the defendants in the FandF case are changing their pleas and this was reported the Monday after Isa went missing.

Perhaps Isa is an insurance policy for Sergio's favorable testimony? I think A.Celis went back up on May 11. What if the informant who fingered him (giggle) suddenly recanted? Hmmm.

Would LE suddenly find Isa safe and alive and bring her home? MOO.

From what I understand, this is correct. The stated "goal" of catching certain people was actually accomplished in a very short time. Some of these people were released for no reason, and the operation went on much longer - causing many deaths.

Agreed.....and I think people are still sleuthing the family aspect.

It's all just speculation, but so far it makes better sense than anything else and I am usual one to go with the simplest answer involving the least players. But this time.......
