In one of the parents' interviews, Becky said something about how Isabel had drawn/written on walls with crayon. I got the impression that Mom wasn't too happy about this because it meant extra work for her to clean the crayon marks off the walls. :moo:

LOL join the club!

Is there a transcript of the presser? When I listened to it live I THINK I heard a reporter ask about a handwritten note found in her closet and another reporter asking about a note written on the wall of the closet at about the same time. Could have heard wrong.

IMO a simple no comment on a question does not boost the credibility of the question, nor does it diminish the credibility.

IMO this means that a reporter's question is just that, a question, not a fact.

If I feel a need to discuss a possible note on Isa's closet wall. I will simply call it that rumored note on Isa's closet wall. Seems reasonable to me.

JMO

To state whether or not something is a case detail would be commenting on a case detail. The refusal to comment does not confirm that it is a case detail.

My DD wrote stuff on her bedroom walls, inside the little walk in closet when she was about 5. She drew pictures and wrote phonetically, little messages on the wall. I think a lot of kids have done that. I am not sure it means anything in terms of this case.

Well We had bathtub crayons no writing on walls in my house!

I guess my original post about JM got punted but looking at http://apps.supremecourt.az.gov/publicaccess/caselookup.aspx at JM's case history for case M-1041-TR-11046612 .. It appears this would be the DUI for alcohol and drugs of a vaporous sort not necc pot. It also appears that he is due for some sort of testing tomorrow on this case. I would speculate also that the being served warrent in December may have been something which envoked CPS activity in December as well BUT thats JMO

LE has also said that both types of dogs were "helpful" in the investigation (HRD dogs and The dog that does scent discrimination)

I bet the scent discrimination dog didn't find any scent other than the family (that is just my two cents)

caveat: the way I have seen Sarx describe it is that swabs are taken from people in the home and then the dog searches for scent that is NOT on the swabs... in other words.. seeing if there is scent that does not belong that is fresh... (hope I did that right Sarx!)

I tried to search Efron Romero and all I got were links to real estate.

But sometimes I am not very good using the googling man. :)

http://ktar.com/?sid=1233668&nid=867

This article involves a man with the same name as the plaintiff in the civil suit against SC and RC.

MOO that it is an odd coincidence he was involved in smuggling.

I thought that the Celis were the original homeowners of their current residence. Is that not correct?

Im playing catch up since I was last here earlier...

I am not sure if Im allowed to post this here, if not, I have no issue with staff removing it...

Most elementary school students begin journaling very early in their academic careers these days. Depending on when the "note" (if it exists) was written, Isabel might have had basic "writing" skills for telling a story with words and pictures. :moo:

That's true, but it could also be very easy to misunderstand the meaning of a young child's writing. I once had a Kdg. student write:
I LICK IN SEX

Translation:
I like insects.

A cadaver dog certainly could have hit in the house. LE is not able to identify who the deceased person is....just that a deceased person was in the home.

If a cadaver dog hit in the house, it would open the possibility that the dead body was Isabel's. Right? Do you mean that they did not answer truthfully when saying they have absolutely no reason to think she is dead? If a family member had killed her someplace outside the home, they'd have been in contact with her body long enough to carry it to a place they could conceal it. Their clothing might then also be expected to smell of cadaverine. This would CLEARLY implicate the family, but would ALSO be an indication that Isa is deceased.

I hope if this handwriting exists that it's that innocent.

Handwriting:

I am sure the reporter has heard what the **alleged writing** said as well... Someone has tipped them off

(aside: wonder if the search warrants will be unsealed anytime soon?)

My own thoughts using what was trickled out about a prior CPS involvement -
CPS being involved with the family back in December does explain why the parents did not want to start making tv appearances, IMO. I think Becky really felt they were being picked on and resented her family being investigated. (she sounded still in that frame of mind when she challenged "bring it on".) Family is certainly important to her, and many woman want to be secure in keeping things the same, even if it isn't a happy home for the children for some reason. The only reason I'm now thinking about the domestic situation is because I have been led there by the dots they keep dropping for me to try to connect.

You know what hit me today. Remember the 911 call with Sergio, saying that the older boy was in the backyard looking for his sister, and the younger one was waiting in the garage for his mother to return home? Then the other 911 call where it's the younger one that is somewhere down the street and has to be driven back home, and he's the other 911 caller? Either I heard that wrong, or the younger one that was suppose to be in the garage, ran off down the street.

The younger one was in the garage waiting for Becky. The older one was "outside our wall" and apparently borrowed a phone to call 911 when he did not find Isabel. He got someone to take him home while they stayed on the phone, arriving just about the same time Becky did, as they can be heard in the background of Sergio's call, as Becky takes the phone from her son and begins to speak with the 911 operator he'd been talking to.
