Someone needs to call "ADULT" protective services on me,because I'm 56 yo and I keep track of my soon to be 13 yo DDs height on my kitchen wall with a BLACK PERMANENT MARKER.

So are they saying due to Isa coloring on her closet wall that this is why Sergio was told he cannot be around his boys? IS this connected? Just asking.

Haven't watched NG yet but will in a few hours. This whole part, from reading comments here, sounds so flipping bizarre. CPS should have taken my three kids away by now because they colored on walls.

Or...perhaps LE is letting things out a little at a time to indicate that they do have evidence pointing to a specific scenario, but not yet enough to arrest and charge. I don't think LE is tunnel-visioned here, I think they did and are doing everything they should, in the case of a missing child. But we can't know what other things have come to light, until they tell us.

I am not crazy about how the little bits and pieces are coming out, but I trust LE until I have a good reason not to.

Well frankly I am sick of their little song and dance routines. I find this LE team very strange. I dont think I have seen another one quite like they are. I wish the Sheriff's department had jurisdiction over this case. From what I have heard from locals they have a higher success rate of solving cases than TPD and they are known to give better PCs too.

When LE holds PCs they have something new to tell the public about the case. All they say over and over is they have no suspects in mind and are continuing to investigate. We have heard the same thing for almost a month now.

So was there any new information they released today or was it the same ole same ole?

And I am not convinced they dont have tunnel vision.

To those who have actually seen the Celis home and the proximity to the garage and Isa's bedroom window, would the mom have had to walk by the window to get to the garage or is it not on that side of the home?

Garage is on opposite side of Isas room, and from pics and google, it looks like they kept cars out in driveway. NO, she didnt have to go anywhere near Isas window.

I have the same concern. It is like I am seeing the Lunsfords, Smarts and the Van Dams being hung out to dry all over again.

Look what happened to Riley Fox's father. I have the upmost respect for LE ...well most LE but they certainly arent perfect and have made grave mistakes in the past by having tunnel vision and refusing to look elsewhere.

2. Laugh during the 911 calls ?

One the first one, what did they actually say about having a plane fly over? I thought I heard something like it was done or too late?

Sounded to me like when someone called in from the lake fishing that they had seen an explosion the officer taking the dispatch call asked if the helicopter could do a fly over and the dispatch said the copter was in for the night.

No. LE hasn't officially confirmed anything about writing on walls. My understanding is a reporter asked LE the question about evidence of Isa writing in her closet walls but they would not comment. It would be in connection to CPS involvement. The theory is if she wrote in her closet wall and CPS visited the home on more than one occasion, could there be evidence of child abuse inside the home.

I don't think the writing on the wall is the issue. The speculation speaks for itself, imo.

Personally, I cannot stand much more of the tactics being used by the TPD in this case. Seems to me that they are stacking the deck, so to speak, by releasing just enough to create a negative impression of the family, but not any actual evidence to support any theory. God help these people if they are innocent, because I believe that TPD is acting like a PD that does indeed have tunnel vision and virtually no evidence to back themselves up.

While I get what you are saying....to be fair....mom and dad are not doing crap to help themselves or their MISSING DAUGHTER! They have every ability to get their mouths and faces in front of the camera and set some stories straight. They have a platform to not only beg and plea for HELP (which they haven't done) but to answer any and all questions and help the public HELP THEM.

So while some may not be able to stand the tactics of TPD (I actually get some of their tactics because if this matter ends up in court, they need to make sure they didn't screw themselves....) some of us cant stand the LACK OF ANYTHING from mom and dad. You'd think they had only just lost their pet hamster or an expensive pair of sunglasses....their lackadaisical attitude....lack of urgency and desperation and pleas and lack of NON STOP IN YOUR FACE: WEHRE IS MY DAUGHTER....makes me want to vomit.

This all just reminds me of the baby Lisa drama and her ridiculous pathethic parents....

I dont really know because frankly most LE will not comment on confidential CPS information.

I am still shocked that this LE released that.

There was some information sluethed on Mark when Jessie went missing but I have forgotten what it was at the time.

Someone put up a case yesterday where a mother called 911 when she found her son in the bathroom with his head cut off. She calmly told them 'his head is missing' and she stiffled a chuckle and she didnt kill her son.

So 911 calls dont tell me much unless they are way overly dramatic like Susan Smith and her fake crocodile wailing and crying when telling LE a black man had kidnapped her babies. Or like Guy Heinz Jr screamed "my whole family is dead!' like he was dying too yet he is busy hiding the shotgun before police arrived that he used to shatter his family's skulls.

I'm still wondering why Joe Vega, SC's best friend forever never went to the family home. Did the family have guests come over often? Did the kids have playmates over? Was the family home a very controlled or isolating environment? I've heard only good reports about the family in their social activities.

This may sound completely insane... and is nothing more than speculation, so take it for what little it is worth. I keep hearing they were very social, involved in little league and church and so on, yet they rarely had visitors. There WAS a visit from CPS a few months ago, and we've been told Isabel wrote on walls with crayons (that last will and testament she "scrawled" on the inside of the closet wall notwithstanding) added to Sergio specifically mentioning that everyone took showers... what if there was something about the condition of the inside of their home that either put them at risk if people found out (drugs, guns, etc.) or (as is more likely) would have embarrassed them (something like hoarding or poor housekeeping). I have seen some people with hideous houses whose children leave the house looking scrubbed and well dressed, not "neglected" or wearing stained and rumpled clothing. These are the kind of people who spend three days frantically cleaning before relatives come for a holiday, but who just can't throw anything away. In some cases, they are the ones who come outside onto their porches and close the door behind them when you show up unannounced. I suspect that if Social Services had gotten wind of that sort of thing they would have paid a visit to the family. It would have no bearing at all on Isabel disappearing, but may have been the catalyst for them to want to have a service come in and clean the house?
Just thinking out loud.

I thought CV said that both parents have fully cooperated from day one and LE talks with both of them everyday.

It is an unwinnable situation. If they appeared a 100 times they would be criticized a 100 times over.

Do you really think the person who took Isa almost a month ago is going to return her if the Celis plead for her safe return? I dont. I have only seen that happen one time in Canada but I cant remember one case in the states where it ever worked.

I get what you are saying too...I can see and understand stances from all directions....

However, I dont think critizing LE for keeping things tightlipped, when mom and dad arent out there doing much of anything themselves and not answering questions that are asked of them or having their own press conference to denounce rumours and such.....annoys me (and im sure others too).
