Ok, I'm going to stick my neck out here. First of all welcome!! Second the F & F thing has been WIDELY struck down here, however, one of the locals stated that they were at a dinner at a parents home, that had friends who were retired LE, and those men/women thought that this case could be drug cartel connected. That's huge for me because who better would we ask but retired LE what their thoughts are on why Isa was actually taken? Just sayin....

Well that makes more than one local that has heard this from a reliable source...

In looking at the photos posted of the Celis property wall and fence I remembered there being discussed the point I illustrated below.. The large black garbage can(fyi this garbage can DID NOT have wheels at its base) that was located at the position marked below.. Also the red rectangle is made to represent closely the size of the garbage can in relation to the lowest portion of the wall where it was positioned.. IMO this could represent a very easy access point onto the Celis property.. But I am in no way claiming this to be THE actual access point rather only looking at what are the many possibilities in the where/how aspect of someone able to access the property..

Morning sleuthers!

Did anyone read the comment section of this Huffpo article where someone comments that Isabel's passport is missing, the implication of the comment being that she was taken to Mexico.

Of course those are not always reliable I did find that interesting.

Article here, comments after article on page 2 near the end.

Yikes! The discussion of what one is wearing when last seen is skeering me  DH gets up at 6:00 M-F but I don't usually get up then and might not know what he's wearing until he comes home in the evening. His office colleagues would know better than I what DH is wearing on any given day.

Likewise, DH wouldn't know what I'm wearing during the day when I leave the house. DH would have to figure out where I'd been and who might have seen me to get a description of my attire. Maybe we should start leaving each other Post-It-Notes from now on so that we know what we're wearing in the event that either of us goes missing :D

This article states that as early as April 29, LE had expanded their search to include Mexico. You can also watch the Good Morning America segment on the same day that states LE is looking in Mexico.

http://www.examiner.com/article/sea...ves-to-mexico-man-seen-on-video-comes-forward

They also said they have different investigators working on different areas. Whether it be inside or outside. So while some investigators are looking in the 3 mile radius others are looking elsewhere. IMO

I agree 100%.

I had a real problem writing on walls at that age. It got so bad that my mom told me I couldn't go to much anticipated Bluebirds (like Brownies) sleepover. I was so naughty! I also liked to put pieces of tape and bandaids all over my closet. Kids are weird.

I do the same with one of my brother-in-laws. I have three of them and the one was not growing. He felt bad. So, I tracked his progress right on the frame of a doorway leading from the living room to the hall. I don't ever want to paint it!

Excellent read. So, it seems like we are most likely looking at domestic violence or drug or alcohol problems as the reason CPS would get so involved. I agree with whoever stated this might be a pressure tactic to some degree.

I completely get what you are saying. It's true, either way they will be bashed. But as I have said before, the parents being in front of cameras puts Isabel in front of the cameras and such publicity helps solve some of these cases.

I agree. It does make me suspicious although I keep thinking of little Emmett Trapp's mom begging a reporter not to publicize the story of her 2 year old's disappearance. he was later found dead in the AZ heat after having wandered barefoot from his home for miles, his little footsteps circling in dried mud where he was found dead. He had slipped out while mom napped and his siblings played.

I'm sorry to hear you went through that. :grouphug:

I love you PattyG! You keep things on track!!

:greetings::fireworks:
You can post youtube videos of interviews and things. There is a thread on the rules. I will link it in a moment.

You can link to MSM articles like this one.

BBM, do you know or have an idea why she didn't want it to be publicized? I'm just asking out of curiosity.

ETA, ok, I guess no BBM after all! Sorry. :( I'm asking about Emmett Trapp's mother.

because it's a starting point.

hair in braids, pink pyjamas. find a pair of pink pyjamas in the house? hinky. find them in a landfill? scary. don't find them anywhere? possibility she's still wearing them and gives the public something to look for.

every little piece of the puzzle matters. imo.

Knowing what they were wearing is important. But I think many put to much on the words to describe the clothes. If you say the missing person was in shorts and shirt then you have people saying that they must have never been to bed b/c they was in street clothes. If you say they were in pjs and went missing in the middle of the day people will say they must have never woke up.

In this interview, he states that he is a surgical assistant.
"Sergio:The office I work at every day, have their full support. Tremendous gratitude for the time they are giving me. But I know I have to go back to work. I am a surgical assistant. There are a lot of surgeries. And I cannot say enough about the Arizona Opera Company."

http://www.kgun9.com/news/local/150175035.html

It occurs to me that we know more about RC'a job partly because the hospital has been strongly supporting her. I don't recall this happening with SC job.

i'm still trying on this one, shelby...lol...dozens upon dozens of dental/orthodontic/surgical offices in the greater tucson area. i've gone through about 40. most list staff on their websites; no sign of him. yet. ;)

THE ALLEGED NOTE HANDWRITTEN BY ISABEL

Why does people continue to say that Sgt. Hawke wouldn't discuss the note when the reporter asked the question???

Sgt. Hawke DID INDEED answer the question about the alleged note, she said:

"I have no knowledge of that.
I'm not familiar with any note beeing left.
"

And AFTER answereing the question about the alleged note, she add, as I understand it, in more general terms, that LE does not discuss
"ANY items of evidence that would have been specificly located, either in the house or in relation to this investigation, wouldn't be discussed
for obvious concerns of the integrety of this investigation"

Here is a full transcrip of what was beeing said concerning that alleged note:

To be found between 3:03 -3:43

http://www.tucsonnewsnow.com/categor...autostart=true
(Thanks for the link Patty G:))

Journalist:
Could you talk about a note in isabels handwriting that was found
in her closet 2 days after she disappeared.

Tucson Police Sgt. Maria Hawke:
I have no knowledge of that.
I'm not familiar with any note beeing left.

But regardless any items of evidence that would have been specificly located,
either in the house or in relation to this investigation, wouldn't be discussed
for obvious concerns of the integrety of this investigation.

Journalist:
Ah it wasen't actually a note, ah it was written on the door (or maybe he said; wall)

Tucson Police Sgt. Maria Hawke:
Again any particulat items of evidence that might relate to this investigation may
have been located in the recidens or in association with the investigation
we woun't confirm or discuss the posibilities of evidence.

If it was a meth lab explosion it wouldn't have happened in their home imo, or LE would have been all over the evidence right off the bat.

Although it would explain Becky's fear of chemicals in there I guess.

Also, IME the searches would've been handled much differently.

If it was in the closet, maybe it is from an earlier time. My little sister was a wall-writer & I remember her finding places to write where it wasn't obvious to the parents.

MY DD wrote on the wall in her closet through high school. lol

She started as a 5 yr old because my DH had a big whiteboard in his home office and he wouldn't let the kids scribble on it because he kept work messages on there. So DD started copying her dad an writing on the big wall in her walk in closet. We gave her permission but ONLY on the wall in the closet.

Just while we are on the topic of meth labs - often nowadays the kitchen isn't even used. They have (I think it is a quicker) method using a coke bottle. I was REALLY disappointed when I saw one - looked like an empty bottle in a paddock and the people had been making a small fortune.

Yes but the one-container method is still very dangerous because of the chemicals' instability. You can see an example on the Natl Geographic documentary on meth, which is available on YouTube.

I think the comments from the HuffPo article that have been referenced here are at least worthy of discussion.

We haven't even discussed them, yet. Maybe others can weigh in.

I thought we weren't allowed to post or discuss 'comments' from any site, and I also thought Huff Po was not considered MSM by WS.

I read alot on Huff Po but never link anything from there......confused.....

From the 911 call, we know Becky drives a Lexus. Do we know what Sergio drives? When I was looking at the court records yesterday, I saw that the traffic cases have vehicle descriptions.

I was wondering about the video surveillance cameras .If any of them could have showed the street near the Celis' house.Or a vehicle leaving their residence.

Wonder what the parent's cell pings showed ?

Makes you wonder. LE must know this info. And they still seem focused on the immediate family.

FWIW, I braid my daughter's hair WET before she goes to bed. Also, if we're in a hurry, my girly-girl is instructed to take a shower. Otherwise little miss diva would soak in luxurious bubbles all night! ;)[/QUOTE

I could have posted the exact same thing myself..i braid it wet and she showers if we're in a hurry. Maybe it's a Tucson thing..hahaha

My little Knotling has uber thick, curly hair and after she washes and conditions it, i comb, apply morrocan oil, and braid it still wet.

When she wakes up in the morning all it takes is a quick finger tease and her hair is lovely and dreadlock free!

Sorry, but just catching up a bit...

I thought the same thing too, when I read that, it seemed as if she either hadnt been home at all the night before, or was out really late, fell asleep and ran out of the house to go to work, another EXTREMELY ALARMING thing to me IN MY OWN OPINION, is HOW CAN THE NEIGHBOR HEAR THE DOGS BARKING FRANTICALLY, AND MEN TALKING OUTSIDE THE HOME, but supposedly MOM is up getting ready for work, and she heard NONE of this? she says she left at 7am, the talking men and barking dogs was supposedly around 6;30AM????? I still feel as if SC had something to do with this, and Im not so sure his wife is innocent though, I think she had to know SOMETHING. MOO

Personally, I leave for work at 7AM too. In order to be done "getting ready" (drying hair, putting on make-up, getting dressed) for work on time, I jump in the shower at 6:30AM so I have 30 minutes to do it. Maybe she was in the shower and couldn't hear anything???

I agree. I just put a lock on my closet door because my grandson would take things in there that he knew he wasn't allowed to touch lol He is not a wall writer (yet) - there is something about a closet that kids seem to love.

My beloved daughter snuck into a closet (pantry) when she was four so she could cut her long hair off without me catching her.

Why would she not be aware of it? Surely her job description is not merely as a spokesperson. Talking to the media wouldn't come close to filling an 8 hour day. And if she was not familiar with the case at all, she wouldn't be designated to be the spokesperson. She may be in a supervisory position, which means she is probably not out there with boots on the ground, but she knows what is going on because the detectives report to her or at least to the head of her department.
I would not read too much into LE saying they are not aware of something. That's an easy way to deflect attention away from something they can't discuss. If that note meant something, if it was a message or a cry for help, you bet your bootie she is going to know about it, but she can't talk about it just yet.
JMO, naturally.

I know if a citizen makes a report to CPS, they do NOT get any information about the follow-up, if any. I surmise it may be the same when TPD "handed off" this part of the investigation to CPS.

Perhaps because CPS is a state agency and TPD is a city agency, they do not "have to" share information and instead may be required to protect confidentiality of children receiving services.

My hubby is easy. Wranglers, Carhartt t-shirt and boots. No one but my Boston Terrier's could tell you what I was wearing when I left the house.

Wanted to add really quick, I don't hold it against the 14 yo not knowing. My son wouldn't know what his sister had on, either.

I dont know about other Moms out there but i used to lay out their night clothes and take their dirty clothes to put in the laundry then after bath or shower together we would pick out what to wear for school the next day
At 6 yrs old i knew exactly what they wore that day and to sleep I would expect Rc to know not necessarily SC guys could care less what kids wear.
