Well if everyone in the family referred to him as an uncle I think an officer would just put uncle in a simple report and the investigators would later determine the relationship in detail.

I'd bet money that is JM.

From ABC News this morning:

http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/missing-girl-isabel-celis-evidence-revealed-16429149

"In one report detectives write about a witness telling them that a guy who was staying with the family owed someone a lot of money, and that was why she was taken."

"One report talks of photograpghs of overall views of the middle-east bedroom, including views of apparent blood on the floor. The room with the apparent blood, according to blueprints, is that is the missing six-year-old's."

The word "apparent" jumped out at me.

It is interesting to me that they report only pieces parts and not the entire interview. They leave it dangling for people to draw their own conclusions. Not sure I agree with that type of reporting. jmo

I am with you on that. I have seen cases where only the reporters got the doc and it was piecemealed in snippets to get the most sensational affect out of it and we never really knew what all was really released.

At least in this case they are going to provide all of the docs but they usually will put out only the sensational parts first when they are coming out reporting what has been learned.

The meter is pretty much "eye" level, so there would be no reason to have to step on a box to shut off breakers, or to see if the little spinning dial in the meter is moving.

I don't have a close-up of the meter, but I recall a picture was posted threads ago. The picture I have of the meter is from a distance.

This is what has us all going in circles. I read this morning that the blood was not in IC's room. I read it here on WS. wow, such confusion. jmo

If LE is calling JM uncle, then I call uncle and give up on TPD, the FBI BAU, and all involved.

I know that they don't have meter readers, but what if the Celis's thought something was wrong with their meter, would someone have come to check it out, and stepped on the box to shut it (like another poster suggested)?

There is no meter in the box, there is a cable hookup that services anywhere from 2 to 8 homes, the box has no direct link with any one home... there are any number of possibilities for a cable tech to have been in the box.

No, and in the docs I read there is Nothing disparaging about either of the parents. And certainly not SC. jmo

It's important to remember that many of the documents will remain sealed. IMO LE will not release documents which impune SC or RC. JMO

We don't know if he provided any other information. He could have given a very detailed explanation for why he thought SC was involved and it is blacked out.

We wil see but I think this is one problem LE has talked about. They have to interview all of these people including the ones with theories and beliefs who has nothing to support them.

I assume you are referencing the gas meter? Do you know where it is on this pic? TIA

ETA

So it is becoming increasingly likely that those who thought Sergio hurt his daughter were way off the mark and that the theories involving other neferious people/activities linked directly or indirectly to Sergio may have played a role in her disappearance.

Interesting thought. So if true, I guess I will stop speculating until all the docs are released. Not good speculation if I don't have all the facts. jmo

We would an "abductor" stand on the meter anyway? Red herring IMO.

I think at this point there is enough public evidence to support both. Everything released so far can go either way.

I still can't decide, lol.

If they used the word uncle then it is very unlikely they are referring to JM and there is another character involved that nobody is aware of and who has not been in the news/media.

LE is not going to make the mistake of calling a cousin and uncle even if the family refers to him as her uncle.

I'll be back to this post as soon as I can see if I can put a mark on that photo.

I have no clue what meter I am looking at, but I recall someone posting a close-up of it.

ETA: OK, I put a line on the picture.

You are correct about the picture and it was posted yesterday or last night. All running together now. jmo

Granted I have not read every word of the docs, but I am not seeing much that suggests to me that Sergio is being implicated in anyway, although I am also smart enough to know this whole doc dump could be a red herring to get their main POI to relax a little and that the docs surely do not contain everything.

I also think the doc dump means they are either very close to an arrest and are "showing their efforts" so that they cannot be accused of focusing in only one direction and can show they looked at all leads, OR it is about to go cold.
