I have a sister, well several of them but one was sent a 1099 in January for being compensated with getting two glasses of wine & food free while helping set up & serve at wine tastings last year. I said Wah?

Isn't it anything over $150 you must report?

$600. But anything less CAN be reported. I shan't get into what my Dad tried to 1099 me for this year. I was livid. Yet he didn't 1099 the house painters or the handyman. Ugh.
