actually, their becoming popular again.

There is a reality TV show on (forget the name) and it's about this business that is thriving producing underground shelters for those that believe in either the upcoming December 2012 end of the world or society going bad and surviving on your own.

Their called 'preppers'. They stock food, ammmo, guns, etc these new bunkers to survive on and defend if something happens.

Yeah and they could be used for other stuff whilst they wait for the end of the world to arrive, kwim? What a perfect hideout.....almost like a dungeon.

Just wondering how many of these houses in Tucson have them.

OMG! That would be a great way to get over the wall.

And once they are inside? Where do they leave from with a 6 year old in tow? Maybe just leave through the door? It could be unlocked from that side, I would assume.

Thanks for that reminder, because bleach IMO is quite a common substance to find on a shower curtain. My showers have doors, not curtains, but I do clean them with bleach.
I was weirded out about the curtain being in the car, but several posters offered plausible scenarios for that, so I am past it now.

My impression was that the shower curain waa NOT tested at the scebe, but taken into the lab with red/brown visible stains.
"
We are only seeing fibdibgs and initial reports.... There is no detail about results from any piexe of evidence collected. Seems to me all very "preliminary". Could be blood, could be bleach, could be "uncle" could be "cousin“.

Need more info. But, based on these "preliminary findings and reports" I would certainly have a lawyer by now, and would be in the media and camped out at the police station.

Eta... Sorry about typos. Trying to keep up while managing a 4yo, a 1 yo, a sick kitty, and a new puppy. Typing on my phone.

I think it's interesting that it was reported yesterday that for the first time we see SC and RC together since CPS involvement and a few hours later, we get a doc dump.

The same thing happened when they did that reenactment at the house. A few hours later, CPS issued a no contact order.

Wonder if someone is sending a message or is it all a coincidence?

my hinky meter goes up when SC conveniently goes to his bedroom at 5am. imo

If SC has nothing to do with Isa missing, maybe he woke from Isa being taken but didn't realize it was noise that woke him at 5am?

It looks to be made out of metal. I dont think it would.

IMO

There were no footprints on the electrical meter reported

We have reports that there were matching sets of footprints on the
1. Gas meter (at west side of house) near yard wall
2. Utility box (at south side of house) in back alley against yard wall

Frankly I cant stand those kind of interviews. He 'believes' he may be involved? Really? Where is the evidence to back up his 'thinking' he was involved?

I can 'believe' a lot of things but I also know I have to have facts to support it if I am going to accuse someone of something.

Who else said they thought Sergio was involved besides this coach... when it is well known that some coaches cant stand each other.

IMO

Well there are alot of ppl here that think he could very well be involved.
And maybe he has good reason to think the way he does!

I guess this is my reasoning:

- Any footprints or fingerprints can be either a family member or stranger.

- Any potential evidence found in the car could have been put there either by stranger or family member (Although, if there is any real evidence in the car I'm leaning towards family).

- Blood in the Celis house could be either stranger or family.

- Blood in another residence could be a neighbor, or the grandparents house.

The biggest thing to me that makes SC suspicious from these documents is that he didn't actually go to his bedroom until 5am. Of course that act alone isn't suspicious, but just that it happened the night Isabel went missing. Either it is true, or it is a convenient alibi for why he wasn't in bed until 5am.

-

He said he was up watching the Dimamondbacks game, here in Arizona the Diamondbacks games are often re-aired late at night long after the game is finished. That is possibly why he was out there late.

As for bomb shelters, they are not popular at all, about 30 years ago the Mormons were digging them in their back yards as per church suggestion and there are still a few of those around on properties where Mormons lived or live, aside from that I am sure there are a few that non Mormons mayhave built but youre not going to find many bomb shelters around in general.

The gas meter looks like a nice spot to peek into that little square window. I wonder if it is a bathroom window?

lol...yes I know what he said. That doesn't really make it true, considering he hasn't been ruled out yet.

I did find the LE report on a bomb shelter very odd ... but after looking around on the Assessor site in the last few weeks, I did note houses built in the 50s...

can anyone point me to those doc dumps that came out yesterday?
thanks in advance.

  • #1,454
Would someone stand on it to go up to the roof and let's say.....ummm move a surveillance camera?

Good thought!

They wont be available until this afternoon.

It looks like someone could step on the gas meter to get to the wall, and from there to the roof.

I think that is what happened. They went over the wall using the meter box to stand on but when they were outside the home with Isa they just unlocked the outside gate latch since they were on the inside of the property anyway.

And they may have exit/entrance doors like ours that stay locked and can be opened from the inside but when they are shut when we leave they are automatically locked.

We dont know there could have been more than one kidnapper. One to stand guard outside and take Isa from the other one has he handed her to him through her window. If they had already hurt Isa and had a weapon I think she would be terrified and not make a sound. We have seen so many children who did not scream out that it is heartbreaking to know they were that terrified.

We certainly know that one lone perpretrator is perfectly capable of kidnapping a child from their own bedroom though.

IMO

There are two that I'm aware of

TUCSON - Police have released hundreds of pages of documents in the Isabel Celis case.

They are officers' reports related to the investigation.

Among the revelations:

Becky Celis and Isabel's two older brothers were crying when one officer arrived.

Becky Celis asked police if they had contacted authorities near the border.

Becky Celis reported having a good relationship with her family at home.

Sergio Celis said he fell asleep on the couch watching a prerecorded baseball game the night Isabel disappeared. He claims he woke up and went to bed around 5 a.m.

Multiple officers reported footprints on a utility box behind the home.

Many reports were false leads.

Officers were sent to investigate a strange smell on April 24. They found parts of a rotting rattlesnake carcass in a trash can.

Some reports were extremely brief. On April 24, one officer simply wrote, "I responded and provided scene security for the command post."

Many police reports remain sealed from public records requests.

Can't locate the other one.
