OK. So i know this will be met with big eye rolls and negativity but honestly at this point with all that has been thrown out there as possibilities.. well.. IMO this theory is no more outlandish than some already stated.. ill preface it by saying that IMO parents of a missing child would be willing to go to any lengths necessary if it meant they would get their child back.. and well.. i just feel like there is a whole other issue going on here and that the media has been used specifically and purposefully in this case.. i believe LE quite possibly knows the who and that its of ultra importance for those or that person(s) to have no idea that LE is on their trail.. what better way to do that than to publicly identify the perp as being the family.. to show publicly that LE isn't looking anywhere but family and to make even more certain that its understood to have the parent "voluntarily" separated.. certainly by all appearances LE has their focused narrowed down and spotlighted on Sergio..

In the grand scheme of things this would be the smallest penance to pay to get your daughter back.. and for all we know Sergio could very well still be seeing the boys.. there is nothing whatsoever that has been court ordered or altered and we wouldn't have a damn clue if Sergio was still in some contact with his boys.. idk.. but its definitely crossed my mind as a possibility and tho by no means am i claiming it to be fact but IMO i do find it to be possible and wouldn't be a bit surprised that when all the chips fall where they may that it could be something similar that is at play here.. jmo.

My reason for believing that Sergio and Becky should still be out there doing as many interviews as possible is because there may be someone who did not hear about the case in the beginning - I spoke to a friend of mine in California and she hadn't heard anything about it. :what:

Just in case Isabel was taken out of the area, the more the story is out there, the more chance there MIGHT be of someone reporting seeing something that may be relevant to this case. If they came on TV again and talked about Isabel to make everything more personal and not just a missing 6-year old child, I think it may help. I know they have already said a few things about her in the early interviews, but I think it's beneficial to keep talking about Isabel over and over in the hopes that someone might weaken and turn someone in, or rack their brain and recall even the tiniest of memories of something they saw that could help LE with this investigation. Plus, the less they are out there locally or on TV, the less the case is discussed on a state or national level. I realize that shows like NG or JVM are very often over the top when reporting these missing children, but it is important to have them still talking about her so little Isabel is not forgotten. When these shows no longer discuss her and message boards are reduced to fewer posts, I fear that this case will be like so many others and end up going cold.

Does anyone know if searches are still being done, and if so, where? Little Isabel is somewhere and it is so sad that she hasn't been found, no matter what the circumstances.

I dont know what more they could do. Isa's photo has been shown worldwide over and over again. They did come out and speak to the public and no one has forgotten about Isa. The last time LE spoke they said they had received over a 1000 tips and I am sure the tips are even higher now.

Imo, no amount of pleading is going to bring their daughter back to them safe and sound. If the perpretrator had a heart he would have never taken Isa in the first place or if he heard her family and how torn up their were...he would have dropped Isa off somewhere safe and left almost a month and a half ago.

While Marc Klass says for parents to keep the case in the forefront... truthfully Marc did not have to deal with the harsh criticism and riducle of the public when Pauli went missing that parents have to go through nowadays. Imo, the media and a lot of society ...especially those on the internet have become cruel and unsupportive of parents with missing children.

Also there are countless parents who have children missing that do not run to the media or does interviews. Maybe they have seen how parents are treated in today's time or maybe they are fearful of the media and the personal invasive questions they often ask that has nothing to do with finding their missing loved one.

Some are strong and can weather the storm of criticism but not everyone is alike. Some are more sensitive than others and are devastated at the allegations hurled against them.

I truly think the Celis family feels they are damned if they do or damned if they dont... so to save themselves further pain from the rash of negativity against them they have decided it is best they do not speak out. It doesnt seem to accomplish anything and leads to more criticism and more talk about the parents than finding their missing child, imo.

But no amount of speaking out is going to result in Isa being found safe and sound. Isa became a liability the minute it was known to everyone that she had been kidnapped, imo.

IMO

.

Even if this case happened in the 90s, the parents would still face a lot of criticism and scrutiny. Remember John and Patsy? A child missing from her bedroom, where the father is extremely calm in a 911 call, where there's been prior contact by child services, and where the father is not allowed to see his other children is going to make a lot of people suspicious....whether it's happening in 2012 or 1992.

Thats true.....however the suspicion was already rampant before learning that Sergio had agreed to be away from his boys.

Whatever is the reason it is nothing criminal imo for if it was TPD would charge him and let him stew, imo. Just like they arrested CA on other charges before charging her with murder and just like they arrested Guy Heinz Jr on other offenses before they charged him with 7 first degree murder charges and one attempted murder charge.

Marc still didnt have to face the internet chatter though when Pauli went missing.

She and her boyfriend live a few houses down from Isabel. Boyfriend (NMcD) was out searching within the first hour that Isabel went missing. Police saw him and questioned what he was doing - he told them he was searching for Isabel and he left and returned home. I believe LE obtained a search warrant for his home. Some websleuthers are very suspicious of him, not of her.

Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to connect the dots for me. :)

I think all LE really knows nowadays what is being said across the internet about a case and who people may suspect.

Imo, LE knew Marlene Lamar and Rick were being 'eaten' alive with accusations that Marlene was covering up for Rick and he was involved in Sierra's disappearance.

And even TPD came out twice and tried to quiten the rumors and speculation on social media websites about Isa's parents. I think they gave up on that. :)

I really think LE is in the business of solving cases or at least trying to and are not public relation speakers for families with missing children.

I have seen so many cases where I had wished the police would come out and set the record straight but it never happened no matter what was being said about the parent or parents. The parent(s) were left to twist in the wind until they got a reprieve when the real suspect was finally caught.

I agree. Such a horrific case; I will never forget watching people in the video surveillance at the convenience store casually walk by Shasta without a clue!

From the beginning, I've felt that Isa's abduction was by a Duncan-like stranger. Someone off the radar who stalked her. Someone who has not been caught, but whose fingerprints may have been found in another case.

I have had a feeling all along that the suspect may be a closet pedophile. One that may have molested his own family members and they never told anyone.

Someone that went out of his comfort zone this time in order to get the child he wanted.

Missing Girl's Parents: Police 'Wasting Time' Focusing On Us; Sergio Celis, barred from seeing sons - YouTube

at :42-48 in the video the Dad says " look at her she is beautiful"

When I first heard these were the words to " whomever took IC" i was very puzzled actually shocked. Why would he say that?

IMOO - this is only a fitting statement to cover-up /convince self and others....that It 's believable that she could be abducted by a Stranger or an RSO because ..."Look at her she is beautiful"

:juggle:

Late here... I agree about the "beautiful" comment. I also take mild umbrage when people always say "A BEAUTIFUL girl..." or "Beautiful woman..." as if if the girl/woman were homely, maybe the press would not have interest in the case. I believe the PD would work the case, but I have always wondered why the press says "Who would take this BEAUTIFUL child/woman". It makes me think a plain girl/woman is not worth it. Just me.

Three years ago when my sister-in-law and neice were murdered in front of my 2 great-neices, I alerted JVM and Nancy Grace. Not even a note back saying, sorry, we are swamped with other cases. I sometimes wondered if they were too plain to feature on those shows. :waitasec:

I always felt highly suspicious of JR and PR. Always. Something in their faces.

That is wonderful. All but $1,000 came from donations.

TUCSON - The reward for information on the disappearance Isabel Celis case has gone up to over $60,000.
With roughly $10,000 of donations in recent days, the reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the 6-year-old's disappearance is now $60,500.

The informational flier on 88-crime.org reflects this: $59,500 towards the reward has come from private donations, added to the original $1,000 reward offered from 88-CRIME.

Oh my, what a horrible feeling, AZcc!! I'm sorry that happened to you. Was the murderer(s) caught?

I personally think that any missing person would be referred to as "beautiful", because in their family's eyes, they are!

I am so sorry for your great loss.

Yes, unfortunately the national media doesnt seem to be interested that much unless the victim (mostly females) are very attractive.

However; I didnt think anything about Sergio calling his own daughter beautiful. We have 4 daughters and both my hubby and I think they are beautiful and would describe them that way.

You are right and I have never heard one parent say publicly that their own child is ugly.

The police today gave glowing remarks re Ayla's Mom, Dad they made pretty clear how they felt.

Mark Klass has said over and over, he didn't care that the police or the public were suspicious...I can't imagine caring myself enough to hide & not get the best media exposure as possible for my child, especially if LE encouraged it. I don't get that attitude because the parents will be talked about anyway & worse if they hide. It brings worse suspicion, Irwin case is a perfect example. JMO

Is there a way, on google maps, to map out several locations? I noticed a new picture of Isa, which was put up a few days ago, in what I assume is her preschool promotion cap and gown. Looking at the locations for that particular business, I found one that is close to not only her current school, but is also close to the Snyder-molestation case.

My assumption being that her parents would have put her in a preschool location close to a) their home b) their work or c) the older boys' school (now her school)

This is so curious. Why was LE fearful for the Celis' to appear on camera? Could this be the same reason the Celis' have limited their appearances?

Too bad we don't have a network tv station that does nothing but report on missing persons 24/7!

Yes, notice how NG always points out how beautiful a woman is and often has "Blond Beauty" missing, dead, etc...in her taglines.

I don't blame HER specifically, but I do think media in general goes for the "typical" idea of beauty to attract the most viewers, always has.
