Doubt Justin would be educated in the legal system unless that means knowing how it works because he's frequently in court. Come to think of it in that case he's probably more educated than most. I wonder how educated he'd need to be to be allowed to defend himself. Why would he want to? Anyone got an idea? Would their be any benefit to him or is he just that stupid?
Still more to come but IMO we'll probably have to wait until trial. I still don't believe he acted alone. JMO

As soon as I read that the DP was on the table, it made me wonder if there is evidence of his dna involvement and they are keeping that as a surprise for the trial. MOO

I think it's quite possible they have gotten the DNA results back finally. That being said, AFAIK simply murdering a child allows the option of putting the death penalty on the table. I think the more aggravating factors they have, the more comfortable they are going for the death penalty.

AZ has 14 aggravating factors

http://www.azcentral.com/story/news...a-death-penalty-aggravating-factors/17542463/

All that said, while I'm sure they can keep DNA results from the public, if they have positive DNA results of JR, wouldn't they be required to share the evidence with the defense?

according to the judge regarding todays hearing...
There can be no mental illness and he must be educated in the legal process to defend himself. A mental eval must be done and reports completed by Dec3. A hearing will be held on [Dec. 10 regarding the results of the eval.
Now that the DP is sought, Rector must have 2 attorneys, and the lead attorney must be death penalty qualified in order to represent him.

just wanted to bump this up so we can keep these dates in mind

"..... Ralph Pat Leroy Folster III, 28, also pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to sell dangerous drugs, five counts of sale of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He could face five to 15 years in prison if convicted of each drug sales charge. His next hearing was set for Nov. 17 before Carlisle. Grogan and Folster are being held on a $250,000 bond."

Big math problem: each charge 5 yrs to 15 yrs.......With the burglary ring charges still being unresolved looks like RF is facing a rent free existence for a long time.

TG is going to be doing a lot of angry hand slapping -- 5 to 15 yrs for EACH count ---

bbm RF should have had his hearing today......perhaps tomorrow we shall hear of the results

TG must be slapping herself a lot......she's the caboose at the end of this train wreck....her first hearing is not until the 1st of December

Which puts her in the lovely position of squeal and save your hide. We'll see. It's getting serious and she' s got to be thinking of how to minimize her own problems.

Beyond angry! Im just hoping they are persuing more serious charges against the "parents" of Bella (Accessories to murder) and that's why they aren't filing endangerment chgs!

I am :furious: to hear this news. I can't understand this logic whatsoever. TG supplied JR with the drugs! Bella and her sister lived in deplorable conditions, and never would have been within the clutches of a killer had it not been for the "adults" in the house on Lakeside.

I am holding onto the hope that other, more serious / elevated charges are in the works. They have to be, because Bella's death requires accountability, especially regarding the people who were supposed to be parenting her (and who failed to - miserably)!

:cow:

We the people will keep advocating for Justice for Isabella. It's the right thing to do!
