Circumstances of Disappearance:
Broscovak is a United States Air Force Airman who was last heard from on August 19, 1986. He was staying at a hotel in Flagstaff, Arizona when he called his mother and told her that he was "going go for a walk in the desert to find God." He has never been heard from since. There was no indication on which desert he was planning to go to.

In 1990, it was discovered that Broscovak's 1973 Lincoln Continental, which was registered in his name, had been re-registered to an individual in California who did not provide much information on how or when he acquired the vehicle.

Few details are available regarding Broscovak's disappearance and his whereabouts remain unknown.

Well that's incredibly suspicious! Didn't provide much info....surely LE pushed for more! And I woukd have thought the details of "when" would be easy to establish from transfer of ownership documents? Wouldn't James need to be present and provide some kind of ID for a transfer of ownership (not sure on it works?)

Exactly! And wouldn't the DMV or state have records of who it transferred from and who it transferred to?
