I stumbled across this case while looking at another unrelated case. I live in Bullhead city and about 20 minutes from Oatman. Does anyone know the exact or even approximate location of where the van was stuck? GPS coordinates or approximate miles, yards, feet from a marked road? There is a hospital near silver creek road and bullhead parkway. Silver creek road turns into a dirt road that leads directly to Oatman. From the actual mining camp (town) of Oatman to that hospital is about 12 miles. If this is the area where Jason died I’m sorry to say this but I can’t imagine his remains being located. There is some very very vast desert out there and countless vertical shafts many measuring 500 feet deep and deeper. I do a lot of exploring of the desert in the area between Oatman and Bullhead city. I thought if anyone knew where the van was stuck I would attempt to retrace a path from the Oatman area to the hospital I am thinking of although I do not know if the hospital I am thinking of and the hospital his friend turned up at are the same.

Unfortunately, we don't know the exact location where they were supposedly stranded or much of the circumstances of what followed afterwards.

I just hope that Jason's family (particularly, his step-sister) will soon figure out what happened to him. A quarter of a century is a very long time to not know what happened to your loved one. Based on the recent correspondence on this thread, I am almost certain that foul play was involved in this case. Unfortunately, whoever is responsible for doing this has managed to get away with it so far, at least for the time being.

It is now 2021 in nearly all of the world. I started this thread in 2013 (I think that it may have been one of my first threads on this website, if not the first). I can't believe that I and everyone else on this thread have been following this case for so long.

Given the lack of updates and media coverage, all I can say is that I hope that 2021 is the year that Jason's case sees a resolution and some semblance of justice and closure is finally achieved here.

I'd say pass the comment on to LE. Then LE can decide how to handle the information. Maybe that's just what they need to more forward with the investigation?

I'm not sure what to think about this. Last year, I received a similar PM from someone (possibly the same person) saying something similar to what was left on this Charley Project Blog post.

Personally, I find it hard to believe that this was a random crime. I think that it would be more likely that Jason personally knew whoever is responsible for his disappearance. Then again, he was apparently walking all alone very late at night / early in the morning in a deserted area (either in or outside of a literal desert). If there were people with bad intentions roaming around the area just looking to commit a crime of opportunity, I think that he would have been a fairly easy target under those conditions, and it isn't that much of a stretch to say that nobody would be around to witness or hear anything suspicious.

Today makes 24 years. It's also been 8 1/2 years since this thread has started and we've all "fallen down the rabbit hole" of this strange and confusing case. Hoping for answers for Jason this year.

I have been attempting to find Kenfords remaining family, Kevin Ross Farley, and his mother Kevin Farley as I suspect with every fiber of my being that Kenny knew what happened that night and it was intentional and he was the story guy. I'm praying that he told his wife, or his mother, or brother. I believe there might have been a hit out on my brother.

To @Jason Saul's brother, I sincerely hope that you and your family receive some closure soon. I can't imagine how you all are feeling, especially as more and more birthdays pass without the person being responsible for whatever happened here being brought to justice. Have you looked at post #85 in this thread, followed the link given and reviewed the comments? It could be completely false info, but there are names there that might mean something to you. Probably worth a look.

Today makes 25 years. I still can't believe that it's been nearly a decade since this thread has started.

Each year on the anniversary of Jason's disappearance, I always hope that an article or some other update is released about the case providing some additional insight beyond what we already know. Unfortunately, the search always turns up empty. If it weren't for the contributions of Jason's family (@Jason's step sister, Anne and @Jason Saul's brother) and those who knew him (@Bingbrandie), not much would be known about Jason and his disappearance beyond what is stated in that sole news article from the day he was last seen.

It can be discouraging to see another year pass without any answers here, but I'm hoping that all of us can still keep attracting attention to Jason's case and that maybe, just maybe, a tip will come in from someone with a conscience that ends up breaking everything wide open.

Here's an age progression of how Jason would've looked at 17 when he disappeared (from his NamUs page). I'm not sure why it isn't on his NCMEC page when they clearly made it. *shrugs*
