Per NAMUS:

On 12/30/2024 Jeffery Bernstein last spoke on the telephone with his mother. Jeffery told her he was planning to take a trip to Latvia because he had recently been stressed and wanted to go somewhere. His mom stated he changed his mind shortly after and Jeffery told her he was going to go to Las Vegas instead. She stated since that phone call, she had not heard from Jeffery and became worried because he always maintained consistent contact with her.

I hope this man is safe and contacts law enforcement and his mother/family very soon.

I wonder if he actually knows people in Latvia. Or Las Vegas. Two such different places?
Was he planning to visit friends or take a solo trip?

Does anyone have a pacer account?

I do - it takes a bit of time, and they have to verify you, but I was able to get a free Pacer account last year. It does charge to view and download certain court records, but you can view the basic case details for free by registering- hence I'm sharing.

All I can say is - In my opinion, I think this man may be dealing with some mental health issues.

He (representing himself) sued The State of Arizona AND Amazon, Facebook, Google, The State of New York, the US Federal Reserve, The US Small Business Association, The United States of America, eBay, Apple computers, Microsoft, Bank of American and Maximus Inc for violating his civil rights under 42 U.S. Code § 1981 The first complaint, which Jeffrey wrote himself, was 253 pages.

Note from gg: Maximus Inc.
is an American government services company with operations in countries including the United States, Canada, and the U.K. providing administration and other services for Medicaid, Medicare, health care reform, welfare-to-work, and student loan servicing, among other government programs. They are US based and in 2024 reported annual revenue of $5.3 billion.

US Code 1981 can be viewed here: 42 U.S. Code § 1981 - Equal rights under the law

Google actually got a whole team of attorneys on this one, I've deleted all the attorney info, this is just the most basic of summaries of what was literally hundreds of pages of documents Jeffrey filed without assistance of an attorney. I think the other defendents just shook their heads and waited for the courts to toss it - which they did.
