I think she used a suitcase and then took a cab and/or a bus to a destination away from home. At least that's what makes sense to me -- but then again, she could have just walked down the street and used a local dumpster.

don't know how to put this...but the children described the smell as a "graveyard"....how would Jerice have been able to mask that smell while taking Jhessye in a form of public transportation?

I have no idea... Trash bags with duct tape? I do think she used a suitcase, though. Somehow.

I hope the older children are NOT going to live with Granma. Please, NO.

that alleged car sighting that spawned the amber alert early on in this case had to be an answer to Jerice Hunter's sick prayers and gave her a platform to stand on and spew her venomous wrath a la the race card...

I think she hung her own self in running with it... and showed us all her true colors along the way.

As for Jerice "meeting" big bertha I think it may be more possible that she IS big bertha. A con woman and manipulator to the core. I am glad she thought she could have that power over her children and that in getting away from Jerice they were able to tell what really happened to Jehessey.

I have had Jerice removing Jhessye on my mind all day....and I'm stumped as to how she could have done it alone. She was 8 mths pregnant. I just can't see her being able to handle that kind of weight. KWIM?

Remember the incense belimom?

Doubtful she took a suitcase in a cab, but yes she could have walked.

Where was her boyfriend all this time? There's no way he could have slept in her bed and not known. I recall seeing a video of him with JH and they were all smiley. I wonder how long this guy has been/was around.

Jerice Hunter Bond Request Turned Down by Bail Bondsman; Mom's 5-year-Old Still Missing, Believed Dead
http://blogs.phoenixnewtimes.com/valleyfever/
A Valley bail-bond company says it has denied an offer to write a bond for Jerice Hunter because her daughter is still missing and the bond amount is too low.
The operators of Regulator Bail Bonds, Inc., tweeted and Facebooked their displeasure last night, urging the state's other bail-bond companies to follow their lead.

:aktion:

Now all we have to do is make sure the Padillas stay far away from Glendale.

Thank goodness these bondsmen are standing up for little Jhessye.

Yeah, that expression really swayed me, NOT!!! Really Jerice? What was that supposed to convey? I better zip it ... :furious:

If there was any surprise, she was surprised that the judge knew about the closet...that someone "crossed" her. I would imagine her attorney would have given her those details before then though.

I just remembered something. Isn't the 13 yr old the one that Grandma and Jerice kept saying was on the hunger strike and they were afraid she'd die if CPS didn't return her?

I disagree lynnb. Think about the anger she has shown in some of those video's. Particularly the one where they were marching at the State Capitol. Remember how she lunged at that reporter and had to be restrained? It stuck in my mind first of all because it scared ME. Secondly, the camera earlier, had shown her limping and using a cane to walk with others supporting her. BS, she could lift an elephant and run a marathon if it suited her. She's no wilting flower for sure.

hate to say it but I too feel a suitcase would have made a perfect means of getting a body out of the house and transported to wherever. I feel the police supsected as much was a good idea as well (hence the suitcase seen being handled by but eventually left by LE during the search of the residence the other day).

I still think it is a very possible idea, although based on LE leaving that particular suitcase they examined, it must be assumed that one was not the one used, if indeed one was used.

I have a mental picture of a child's overnight style suitcase (you know the kind with tinkerbell or disney princesses, spiderman, etc image on it) with an extendable handle and wheels. My children had such overnight cases they used when a little younger. The style and size they had - how to put this delicately - were plently large enough for a 5 year old to be placed in if the child was no longer living and breaking bones to fit the child inside was not an issue for the person doing so.

Sorry, feel bad even typing that imagery.

As to transportation for Jerice - I don't think help or transportation was a necessity. They are certainly possible options, but I do not find it impossible to believe a gravid woman could manage disposal of a body on foot, particularly if a suitcase or some other means was used to disquise/hide the body during the process.

You have a good point...she definitely could turn that rage on. But as someone mentioned above, I am curious about the new baby daddy now. OP made a good point. No way he was in her bed and clueless to anything going on.

This is all I could find quick. It looks like you were transcribing an interview with the grandmother?

AZ AZ - AMBER ALERT: Jahessye Shockley, 5, Glendale, 11 Oct 2011 - #1 - Page 21 - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

Thank you! copy and paste of my post from thread #1......
Grandma saying children are split up. 13 yr old on hunger strike....she is sick to death.
Who better than grandma to get info from these kids? who better than grandma to console them?
Mom saying a CPS social worker contacted her and asked how to get her 13 yr old to eat. She told them how and now the 13 yr old is eating. She told them her children's personalities and how to get them more comfortable. How can they claim she is disconnected from her kids if they have to call her to find this stuff out?

I am beginning to wonder if the guy seen with Jerice (younger, white, male) during MSM coverage during the early days of searching was a red herring. There was some speculation that he may be the baby daddy but it never felt true to me based off of the brief images of his walking beside and briefly holding hands with Jerice.

I think Jerice's newest baby's father is not and has not been for a while - in the picture.
